Completely agree, while the team may struggle to defend Fernando down low I think Archie has these guys respond well and we get the road victory. To your point about the Big Ten as well, many were annoyed that some of our Quad 1 wins might fade into Q2. However the Big Ten is so deep this year that most nights will have the possibility to be a quadrant one victory. Should be a fun but daunting two and a half months. If you told me before the game that we’d have only seven turnovers, outrebound Michigan, and Devonte would have 0 turnovers I’d say we’d leave Ann Arbor with a victory. We were without our critical starting point guard, our biggest guy and an offensive threat down low, and the two best players dealt with foul trouble from the beginning, and we still outscored them for 30 minutes. The loss obviously sucks and there are certainly areas of need for this team but at full strength (with Rob and DD back) this team should compete til the very end over a top 4 Big Ten finish. Also Michigan’s key sixth man Isaiah Livers dealt with back spasms against Penn State and did not play. Would be a big loss for the Wolverines if he has to sit out Sunday. Jon Teske is an enormous and surprisingly decent center as he has improved greatly on offense and defense since last year. I wouldn’t be opposed to see more of De’Ron in the game as well as Juwan outside the arc to try and draw Teske away from the hoop. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Back in high school a couple of my friends who played football would get a concussion every once in a while. The longest I can remember someone being out for was 3 weeks; they’re not typically as bad as Race’s and I’m blown away with what’s been going on with him. Was at a high school game outside Chicago this evening and the lady at the door taking cash was wearing a prominent “Butler” t-shirt. I wanted to say something so badly but gave her a nice smirk and walked into the game instead. Also side note: does anyone else not get too worried anymore during these close games when we’re down?
