They beat up on a bunch of high school teams all winter and that earns them the number one ranking and a surefire No. 1 seed?? Even after not even winning their conference championship. If I’m Painter I wouldn’t leave. He’s got a job in Purdue for as long as he wants/keeps it up and seems to like it. Almost similar to Pat Fitzgerald at NW, could be set for life with where he’s at or he could take a massive risk at UCLA for a program with sky-high expectations. He’d likely have to adapt his coaching style which would be hard and it’s not like Purdue’s that shabby of a gig either no matter what us Indiana fans may think. Wow that was a fun game to watch. I was saying earlier this team could beat anyone in the country but also lose to anyone. While I am fully on board for this discussion and also believe there is a legitimate chance we make the field, beating MSU on Saturday will be a tall task that I feel like some of us are forgetting about. The Hall's gotta be rocking and these Hoosiers gotta come out hot; I have faith and certainly believe we can run the table.

Yikes, just read through all that and honestly I just feel bad for guys like Juwan, Zach, Evan, and likely Romeo for their final college season to be negatively impacted by something like this. Juwan puts his heart and soul into this program—legitimately almost crying during the press conference last night —only to have his senior season ruined by negative attitudes like this. Romeo’s a once in a lifetime type talent to attend IU and his only season here had to go this way. Just sucks man. Obviously I’d love to see Smith and Green kicked off as soon as possible. However I am worried for the slight chance one of them doesn’t in fact transfer and gets to play another year with “Indiana” draped over their chest.
