  1. Yes I believe they are out too. I'm fine to be proven wrong. But it has not been a very likely thing in transfer commitments. Usually one the player goes they are gone.
  2. The program dead? The hysterical nonsense. If it’s people saying Wilkerson won’t end up here if he leaves campus and takes other visits? Probably. I’m one that believes that commitment is dead.
  3. People are going to BYU and picking that voluntarily and they’ve never been relevant so this is just bad observation.
  4. Yeah and if the other schools weren’t willing to meet that he wouldn’t have taken the visit.
  5. If Lamar left campus without a commitment then I doubt he will be coming back to commit.
  6. That’s what I had thought.
  7. Isn't Bargan actually in an undefined role at this time and not necessarily an assistant? Or did I miss some news.
  8. The NCAA enforcing those stupid rules directly lead to the mess we have today. Steve Alford was suspended at one point for posing for a charity calendar that he made zero money from. It was dumb, and then we were supposed to be mad that a poor kid got bought a meal, or got a ride to campus when their parents couldn't afford to get them there? It was all dumb. Even dumber that IU put us through the last 25 years because they were too good to do it.
  9. So after the lawsuit how many years will he have left in Division 1?
  10. If you are visit number one, you don't let him take another. Getting the first visit is an advantage. But if he leaves, he probably isn't coming here.
  11. Yes, the new push from a sue the NCAA and make them unable to enforce anything is the argument that you are allowed 4 years of Division 1 Eligibliity and the lower divisions do not count.
  12. Kory Barrnett would have come if he didn't get the Oral Roberts gig. 3 other members of the staff did follow him. Maybe he was just done with Cliff and Tom.
  13. Are we still going to go doom and gloom in this thread about how much a failure the DRock era is?
  14. He's signed two guys. pretending Tucker doesn't count is dumb.
  15. Dusty didn't get a recruit until weeks from today last year, what exactly are you going on about? They have a top 10 portal class already.
  16. No way his dad blows any budget on him in a make or break first season. It would be stupid. The fact he isn't getting much has already been alluded by a few folks in the know.
  17. Who exactly have I complained about not getting? The 4 time transfer or the kid who wants to be close to his mom with cancer so much he is playing with a dude he hates? Not sure I've cared about either but you can check my post history.
  18. Depends if Adam Schefter and Jordan Shultz show up at the same time or not. You might not get much done, pretty dangerous place in Indiana.
  19. Dix was going to Iowa, Indiana, or Illinois.
  20. That's funny you think DeVries is getting money. Brother maybe gets his own T Shirt and his dad's allowance.
  21. They haven't even announced Drew Adams yet and he's been working almost since the first week. Actually working on campus.
  22. You don't think a bunch of corporate entities might conspire to price fix employee wages? It seems on brand, these kids came out way to far ahead.
  23. I don't know if he's the guy, but this could very well be the last round of this wild portal money stuff. The conferences are tired of it. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/44491912/ncaa-nil-pay-play-house-settlement
  24. You did not comprehend what I said, they have a roster. They already know what the guys on it cost now. They know how much they have to spend total and they can make their decisions accordingly. If the guys staying didn't portal, they also probably are back for a similar amount as last year. Indiana has 3 guys on a roster. They have to get 12 more guys, and they don't exactly know what those 12 guys are going to cost them. So to be competitive next year they have to at minimum probably get 8 rotation guys through recruitment and portal. They blow a big chunk on one guy (more than they wanted to) then who do they not get? That uncertainty would make them more disciplined early obviously. They also know who else they want that's not in the portal, and how much roughly those guys will cost them There is no "hard cap" in all of NCAA, but each school absolutely has one that they set themselves. We are just lucky we are in the high end. The numbers do matter if we have him valued around 2, and they give him 4, then it's a no brainer. Let him go. If we are talking we offered 1.8 and they offered 2, then there's some room for debate on the merits, but one guy going somewhere else before the season is even over in early April is nothing to even get concerned about.
  25. Indiana has a complete roster to build and i can't see them getting into a bidding war over 1 guy and using up a quarter of the budget. Louisville is filling s lot less spots as is Creighton abd they have their roster cost more in mind and are just adding a key piece so they can overpay for one or two guys We've been portaling for years we know how this works why is everyone freaking out over a guy or two before the tournament. Maryland got their coach yesterday. TT doesn't have one.
