It was in my opinion a must win. Very odd game because it didn't seem like we played good enough to win but we did. We were lucky notre dame missed some wide open looks. Now we have a opportunity to put together a nice string of wins.

now you're talking anything can happen and if we haven't improved it will show and if we have that will show too. Very excited for tomorrow's opportunity to get this season back on track or possibly not

but if we win we could go into conference play on a 5 game winning streak. If we look good beating notre dame confidence could grow and who knows after that. Just a thought.

the award about troy was probably my post. I was listening to the coaches show and he didn't know about troy winning it and when he found out he said well that is good for him but he needs to start contributing more to the team or something to that effect. He just didn't act like I would have expected him to. I am sure he is happy he got the award just acted odd

I told a guy at work that I feel this is almost a must win game for us. Sure we could recover and still make the tourney but confidence and moral will be at a all time low if we don't come through here i feel

I will say he said last night that Saturday was the best we have played all season which makes me lean on the Priller chants being what upset him.

Crean just found out last night on the coaches show and didn't sound to impressed for some reason.

yes he don't say it as much but have heard it recently. Have deflections been down this year I will be honest I don't know that for sure. If I am not busy with my kids I will try to listen to coaches show tonight at 7 and see if he mentions them

I am a religious radio post game listener and he talked about deflections a crap ton. It is a priority stat that not everyone looks at the same. It proves nothing unless you are getting turnovers and winning. I am more interested in guarding the basket and keeping your man or the ball in front of you. How many times do they over play to get a deflection that puts them out of position and give up a easy basket? I think it has to go a bit farther than just a deflection to really mean something.

Let's be honest crean has talked about deflections alot more than most coaches do. Most coaches keep track of deflections and talk about them with the players and assistant coaches not a million times to the general public. A deflection shouldn't mean jack to the fans we want turnovers and then to score on offense. If iu was winning with crean we would all be happy and brag up how smart crean is and how he is a master on getting deflections and leading to wins. When your losing and suck on defense deflections are just annoying

if Alford is doing good at ucla why would he consider coming to iu where scrutiny and expectations would be sky high. I think you are safe not to worry about that. Ucla is just as good of basketball program as iu imo

yes but imo they are not cheering because of his great basketball skills or it isn't like he is a senior who his getting into games now that he has paid his dues lol. That may bother him a bit I would guess
