I'm hoping that this is an exaggeration though bc this kid is a BALLER!! Reminds me a lot of Luke Kennard when he was a frosh.

Ive got quite the scoop on this kid. i work with a guy who knows him well. Was kicked out of the Spiece program bc of his father. Was held back in 8th grade bc of his father (recruiting purposes only). Transferred from Norwell to South Side bc his father worked out a deal to be an assistant coach. By all accounts, the kid is a good kid but he's a package deal with his dad. Remind you of anyone?

I'm actually nervous about this class. Its the type of class that hangs banners. I just dont want theme to hang another one for Duke or UK.

Louisville didn't make the WS this year. Last year and the year before when we did.

I think Indiana kids wanting to leave Indiana is due to equal parts who the coach is and wanting to just get away.

Except we have owned 2 of the 3 teams I've listed at the times these guys committed.

Baseball has done very well, I agree but we have lost a ton of major players to Louisville, Vandy, and Florida State in the last 2-3 years, even with our success. Losing Tracy Smith really hurt. He was building a baseball power. I'm not sold on Lemonis bringing what Smith did either. I was seriously bummed when he bolted.

MSB once threw a grenade and killed 50 people. Then the grenade exploded.

Not to mention how many people wrote NZ off as soon as it was announced he was joining the team (myself included).

Its always a safe bet, not counting on frosh for much impact.

It will depend on the minutes available to him. IMHO Holt could have made a significantly larger impact last season, had he not had to share mins with HMP.

In the entire 2015 class.

Evan Daniels from Scout.com went as far as to say that OG was the most intriguing prospect in the entire class to him.

. He's an elite athlete with very good size. He also shoots the ball very well and is considered a lock down defender. The best excuse I've seen from scouting services, as to why he's ranked so low is bc he developed so late into his career and that they haven't seen enough of him. He was one of the 5 best players at the derby classic.

Am I the only one who gets this overwhelming feeling that O.G. Anonuby is going to be the steal of this years recruiting class? I honestly see potential greatness in him.

. A Brief Summary: *Guy that claims to have a reliable source makes claims that 1.) Archie Miller has reached out and said that if there is a vacancy, he would like to have consideration. 2.) See #1 and replace Miller with Marshall 3.) Brad Stevens has spoken with IU and has interest in the position but was weary about breaking his current contract. 4.) If Crean is going to go, it will have to happen on his own accord. Glass is not moving unless Crean does. This pretty much sums it up. The guy did say that this could all be Bologna but that the source was someone he trusted and has always been spot on in other rumor mill predictions. One thing is for certain... Quite a few people are going to forever earn or lose credibility with me and many other Hoosier fans. I'm speaking of the ones who confidently claim to know what's happening. We shall find out who really is in the know.

. I played for Elmhurst in 2004 when Belmont beat us by 1 point in overtime at the Northwood Regional title game. Great game. You guys stopped us from going to back to back state championships. Kudos. Great teams, great game.

. They are the first "power" conference team since IU I believe. The SEC is just a large mid major.

I get that but he already makes $5 million annually. I think we can match that price but that doesn't leave much room to sweeten the pot. On the other hand: Brad Stevens is making $3.6 M/Per in a city that is far from home, to coach a franchise where his success isn't directly tied to his decision making. He could take a $1.4 Mil pay raise (More if you consider the cost of living between Bean town and B-Town), live at home, coach his favorite childhood program, and have 99% control over his success.My opinion anyways. ****DISCLAIMER**** I would LOVE to have Billy D. He would be a Demi God at IU. I just cant see this. Keep the eyes on the prize and pay whatever you need to pay for it (Stevens). Don't take no for an answer. Send his wife a bouquet Red and White roses every Friday.
