I understand. I did watch both Illinois and Michigan lose to teams that didn't appear to be of the quality of St. John's so that does give me some confidence that IU will be just fine in the big ten this year. Do I know that for certain, no. But I am optimistic with what I have seen from the rest of the conference so far and from IU that we will be very competitive. I did not feel that way last year.

No I get it. I was just commenting on him saying Josh was the first to call out Archie. This team has a lot to prove, last night was a good step but there were still a lot of lingering issues. I think most people can see that but they still like to enjoy the win that is all.

I thought Lander was a positive last night. He was able to break the press on his own and didn't panic. His minutes were in the most clutch time as the game had gotten close and looked like St. Johns might take the lead. I would like to see him get more run this noncon to continually build his confidence. Maybe he could become the primary backup by the years end and that would be ideal for this team imo. Rob's defense is sensational. His offense is definitely not. I would be okay with him playing the off-guard off the bench. But as the PG he just dribbles too much and the offense is stagnant. He is what he is.

Butler looks pretty bad. Michigan state isn’t playing that great but is in control. all butler has done is take contested 3’s four feet behind the 3 point line

Early impressions of Michigan: Caleb Houstan and Brandon Johns Jr. are not nearly as scary as livers and Wagner on the wing. Dickinson and brooks have carried them in the two games I have watched.

Not a good night for the big ten. Illinois loses to Marquette, Penn state loses by 25 to UMASS, and Wisconsin down 11 at half on their home floor to providence.

Wisconsin is bad. I’m sure IU will still lose to them, but they are really bad.
