I noticed that as well. I know they had a couple of games where they blew out their opponents (us and Michigan) in the second half which may be carrying them a bit.

Would be nice to see a first half like we did against Penn State at home.

Yeah I am curious to see how their game against UM goes. Mostly because UM will be without Diabate, Wiiliams, and of course Juwan Howard. Honestly I am rooting for Rutgers. Michigan is another team right around IU on the bubble and conference standings. Rutgers is too far ahead and the more they win the better the win will look if IU is able to pull it off.

Neat. Hopefully we can break the streak of losing in alternates. But I guess we aren't winning in the main uniforms either so it doesn't matter

agreed. I think 20 wins gets them in (that's counting 1 in the BTT) but I would honestly be surprised if 19 gets them in (unless they beat Purdue) with the weak non con and not a great quad 1 & 2 record. Though it does help that Rutgers is now considered a tourney team

You know this how? I mean look at all the players that used their covid year this year. Players step away for a month or so after the season and then realize how much they miss it and don't have a shot in the pros. Who wouldn't want another free year in the big ten?

Yikes. I for one am not confident that Dane should be the next coach, but if he were to leave after one year it would look awful. I worried from the beginning that Woody would come in and think he knew better because he was from the NBA, and by all accounts (not just from you) that is what is happening. If that is the case, this will never work. and for the record: I have always and always will be on the Michael Lewis train.

Mostly agree with you. My issue is not with TJD, but with how he has been used at IU. He should be getting lobs, put backs, dump offs and told to go all out on defense. Yet because of boneheads who put this roster together he is expected to carry this program. Not his fault, but because of that expectation he gets a lot of criticism. So, while Idk that he is one of the most under appreciated Hoosiers, he is one of the most misused Hoosiers and it has hurt him as well as this program.

Woody probably isn't the guy but my hope is he can get IU back to a respectable level. I mean IU won 2 big ten titles and had a number 1 seed with TOM CREAN as the coach IU went to a final four and a national title with MIKE DAVIS as the coach Just get some dudes who can play. This team stinks
