Ollie is no more of a ridiculous comparison as you trying to compare us to them. You cant have it both ways and only allow comparisons that benefit your argument. That's not the argument and its clear what I said has completely gone over your head. Results compared to talent is different than results compared to everyone else. The results you keep comparing to everyone else holds absolutely no water when you look at their talent level. They've had the best talent in the country pretty much almost every year he's been there. You're making a straw man argument.

They could but that wouldnt be one and done. Their first game is against the winner of the two worst teams and the other good teams have to battle it out before playing New Albany.

All coaches coach freshman, its not anyones fault but his own that he chooses to coach 6 top freshman every year. The excuses youre making validate my point, that would be impressive if he had a normal team, but when you have the most talent every year that isnt impressive at all. I'm really not trying to be a d*** but what does that have to do with anything? I dont understand bringing up something irrelevant when youre trying to make a point like it helps. That would be like me using Kevin Ollie to make my case because hes won the same amount of championships as Calipari with lesser talent. I could do that but what does it have to do with Cal and UK?

I'm so sick of hearing about feelings and insecurities. That crap got old a long time ago. Yes you would and so would most of the fanbase. When you have an elite level of talent like they have/had, you have a certain level of expectations and they have not lived up to it. I cant stand UK but they should easily be sitting on atleast 3 championships under Cal.

I will argue it until the day I die but Cal has failed miserably at UK. With the recruits hes brought in there is no excuse to only have one championship.

I’m not sure how it works exactly but at that point wouldn’t they officially be under contract (unlike academic scholarships) which wouldn’t make them “amateurs”. Not trying to poke holes in what you’re saying I’m legitimately asking because I don’t know. Jeremy Tyler did it and failed miserably.

It’s honestly smart. If they sit him and then the NCAA does nothing after all the info on dirty teams comes out then all they did was screw theirselves. While if the NCAA actually does punish people their punishment won’t be any worse than it already is going to be.

if you guys want a good laugh today go check out the UK boards. Its denial city over there, and the belief that the NCAA is so hard on them and no one else. Its great lol

Same thing with teams like UK. Calipari has a history of cheating(although he isnt very good at it, 1 national championship with all of that talent is laughable), and everyone outside of UK fans point out whats going on and the NCAA wont even touch them. If the list was full of only bottom feeding schools then theyd drop the hammer, but tsince there are a lot of money maker schools on the list they wont even get a papercut.

Dont get your hopes up fellas. In all likelyhood no one will get punished, the NCAA will not allow themselves to lose money so we are probably looking at rule changes and a "lets all move on" from the NCAA.

I think a lot of complaints of one vs the other is just people wanting to complain about something. I grew up in Eastern Time and have now lived in Central Time for a few years and I dont even notice there being a significant difference. A game or tv show starting an hour earlier shouldnt even be a consideration in the discussion.
