He's Native American, not from India

Well, I wanted to rant, but guess I'll just complain. I despise the inane halftime "interviews" with the coaches as they're leaving the floor. All they want to do is coach their team up in the locker room, but instead have to answer "Coach, what are the keys to winning this game in the second half". Drives me nuts

No. We are not stakeholders, we are not assistants, advisors, Board, or whatever. We’re fans. We watch (or don’t) a product. We wear (or don’t) product apparel. IU owes us nothing, the coaches owe us nothing. If the product doesn’t suit you, make your voice known. Nobody is participating on this because the fans need to be compensated. We have zero knowledge of the ins and outs of everyday responsibilities and actions. I’m not calling you out by any means, as I enjoy many of your comments, but saying that sometimes transparency is a perceived entitlement where none is needed

I thought Purdue was very well coached today, and they played exceptionally hard. You are definitely right in the fact that this series could be flipped easily. But moren does pull magic out of nowhere, so I’m just along for the ride lol. I’ve been following women’s basketball for decades now, and still cannot figure out the recruiting and commitments on how they differ from the men’s side

It’s so interesting to me the difference in dynamic of men’s and women’s teams. I just got kicked out of an IU women’s thread because I said that Bargesser’s free throws are odd. Just said that she should work with someone to correct it. You would’ve thought that I said that she kicked puppies and took away fireworks on the Fourth of July. I post everywhere like I post here in that I don’t disparage any player.

Kind of a funny story about her. The last two times my daughter and I have gone to a women’s game Scalia has been shall we say less than effective. I watch a lot more basketball than my daughter does so I see her overall game, but my daughter cannot stand her because she has been not great when we’ve seen her recently. I’m so glad she has games like this to drive my daughter crazy!

Every single person cares what others say about them, and when the fan base is as unhinged as IU is, it is tough. Fans think they can say whatever they want with no impact, but players are human too. But glad you condone insulting young athletes.
