1. Won't be around 1st half (due to UPS store taking 75 minutes for a 5 minute job-customers, not employees). Once I'm caught up on dvr, I'll jump in! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
2. Think we're going with chili for game time, pizza for late games! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
3. .5? Guess I'll stop after first half :( Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
4. He moved the offense flawlessly in the first half. Great to see this from a great kid. He's taken a lot of heat for bad/immature choices, but he's solid as they come! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
5. Awesome! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

7. Lol, I never know what to think! Here's a random thought- why isn't there a music style known as Northern Rock? Mellencamp played Little 5 at some point when I was there,..
8. He's got such a cool variety of styles. My college roomate (at IU- Foster Martin 3!) was obsessed with him, so I got schooled in a lot of his earlier obscure stuff. Big IU supporter too!
9. Mr. Mellencamp was pretty much the textbook definition of juvenile delinquent- wanted to fight everyone. Everybody knew him for his reputation and attitude long before his music (I live about 15 miles north of where he grew up (he's from Seymour, I live in Columbus). He's about 20 years older, so I knew him from my dad. Fogerty? No worries- The Old Man is Down the Road (see what I did there ;) ) Billy Joel did not grow up in Allentown - he grew up in Levittown, on Long Island. In an interview with James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio, he compared Allentown with his hometown while he was growing up, noting the similarities. Joel stated that the original title was "Levittown," and the original lyrics seemed kind of bland, and he felt that they would possibly be considered boring to the listeners. Some of the original lyrics included lines like, "Well we're living here in Levittown. And there's really not much going down. I don't see much when I look around. The grass is green, the trees are brown. And we're living here in Levittown." So, during the time of the upcoming studio sessions for The Nylon Curtain, Billy took a trip to Pennsylvania. It was here that he came up with the idea for new lyrics. At that time, he originally had Bethlehem in mind, but people would suddenly get the impression that the song was religious. The confusion would come from the fact that the place where the birth of Christ was said to have happened was Bethlehem, Israel. It is worth noting that Bethlehem and Allentown are right next to each other. So, he started writing down some lyrics for what later became the song "Allentown." (songfacts.com)
10. Did you know that John Lennon was not the Walrus? Billy Joel wasn't born or raised in Allentown? Freddie Mercury didn't like Fat Bottom Girls?
11. Can't remember how long ago the war was, but remember a lot of awful crimes/genocide :( glad to see they've kept rebuilding! I'm a "culture geek"- I get into learning about different cultures, so I love our international players :) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
12. Used to be war-torn, has been rebuilding for several years. Seems to be a haven for U.S. citizens :) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
13. :clapping:
14. Glad to see you're still here, spreading sunshine Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
15. Going to see Kansas tomorrow! One of the 3 remaining bands on my concert bucket list to see (other 2 are Steely Dan and Eagles). Very psyched in that Steve Walsh is retiring after 41 years in the band, and I get to see him. Huge fan of progressive rock :)

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
16. Prayers for father-in-law please. Admitted to hospital today- clammy, not thinking straight, chest pains etc. They don't think heart attack but aren't sure. He's 60+ and is construction foreman- not easy work!

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
17.

Is Cameron any relation to Andrea Newbauer?

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
18.

It's very sad the length people will go to hurt others. I don't know any details of course, but this action affects Coach, staff, players, fans, University staff, etc. Any chance this can be resolved?

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
19. I like this one much better than your post regarding CB pick for TJ Leaf to Duke, lol!
20. Their fans are call Barbarians- I love it!
21. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KK_Budu%C4%87nost_Podgorica I think this is the team he's playing for...
22. I've thought about that several times. People keep saying "sick" with the quotes, and it's made me wonder :(
23. Seems very strange- momentum was strong, great recruits. Miller seemed happy here, no history (that I know of) of violations. Wish him the best, but am pretty upset over this loss.
24. I'm just having trouble wrapping my head around this- PJ Hairston in trouble? Seems like such an honest kid, no trouble in college....
25. Good to see that a former coach values the program!
