27 hours is close enough!  Really excited to get back into college football.  It's gonna be a hot one tomorrow, high of 90 I think.  Time for important decisions, such as: what will be the lucky IU apparel?, what's on the game day menu?, which beer should I have?   I try not to get geeked up and overly optimistic, but just can't help myself.  Go Hoosiers!

It'll be more fun if we just edit their posts into something cruel, like changing "I'd like a PM please" to "I'd like a date with Gene Keady's hairpiece please"

Could not disagree more. These kids play for Indiana University. If you want IU mentioned in the same ilk as UK or UNC, I can't attempt to reasonably debate this.

I do have to say, having been to 200+ concerts/festivals, One Direction put on a great concert. Those kids are actually talented. They had a blast on stage, which is refreshing from the professional, by the script bands I see a lot. Plus, they were really humble and appreciative of their fans (and parents, lol). Not saying they're my favorites, but I had more fun (and it was a better overall show) than a lot of "legends" I've seen. Having said that, I feel like I need a drink and to hang my head in shame

I followed them pretty closely last year, but honestly couldn't tell what kind of offense/defense Moren wanted to run, given the players she had.  I'm excited to see them!

We were 44th the year before.  10 B1G teams in the top 50 (Purdue 9th, MSU 10th, Nebraska 11th, Iowa 14th, Maryland 15th, Penn St. 18th, OSU 19th, Wisconsin 23rd, Minnesota 25th, IU 46th).  I really hope that we start off strong and get momentum.  The fans were really starting to get into the team w/ Coach Miller.  Coach Moren has begun to put together the team that she wants, and I hope that the team is more comfortable in her scheme this year.  Lots of new faces and added maturity from our returners!

Absolutely agree ^^ (can't quote on here)!  I was just poking around trying to see how many other schools have the same problems that we're experiencing now.  Lots of info out there!

Along the same lines, I was just in Florida, talking with some in-laws from Winter Springs.  They had been told that there was a major heroin highway from Mexico to IU.  They had no idea that I was an IU guy, so they weren't saying it as a jab to me.  Very sad.
