Psyched! Get to watch first half, then head over to IU hockey game! Just spent 4 hrs in the car to watch a 7 minute marching band performance, so a day of IU is much needed!

Very interested to see how Moren changes the team's roles. We saw steps toward it last season, but I'd love to see them play more toward Tyra's incredible steals. Looking forward to seeing what improved maturity brings to the team, as well as conditioning. Jenn Anderson was much improved, and could be a tremendous force. Gassion has that "something extra" that I can't describe- she's just natural. Cahill showed flashes of greatness. I really hope we see the true team, not the chaos that hovered over the team last year!

Slapshot and Youngblood- 2 great hockey movies!  Natty- Ft. Wayne Komets bring back some great memories- they and the Ice had a really great rivalry. 

One of my favorite hockey memories was going to the very first Indianapolis Ice game (back in the '80s).  As they set up for puck drop, Brent Sapergia didn't even go for the puck.  As soon as it dropped, he threw off the gloves and started swinging.  Needless to say, the Ice set an IHL record for penalty minutes that season lol

Big Blackhawks fan, I used to have half a stick from Steve Larmer, broken over the head of a Minnesota North Star :) Love minor league also- Olympic hero Eddie Belfour was with the Indianapolis Ice- fun games back then.

It's been a long off-season!  Who all is going?  Any of you webcrawlers have a stream for this?  I know last year, there was a pretty bad stream, but it was better than nothing!  Go Hoosiers!

Many thanks again to the women's basketball recruiting ninja Class of '66 :ninja: for the info! IUWbb adds a third Texas commit this week, JUCO Bailey Broadnax. She will join IU for the 2016 season. 6'0" post player, avg 8.9 ppg and 5.9 rebounds at Hill College. Her coach praised her defensive skill set and noted that she's improving her offense. Pretty exciting to see CTM's team building as she wants it!

2nd set was pretty entertaining! Congrats to Courtney Harnish who got her 1,000th career dig!

I honestly truly 100% thought today was Wednesday when I posted those. Wow. Thanks for the heads up lol.

IU (13-9) hosts #4 Minnesota (17-3) tonight in Bloomington at 8 pm. Game is also televised on BTN!

i very much enjoy watching this team, and I make no apologies for it.  Don't berate/degrade someone for their opinion.  It's a fun team to watch.  I've talked with other B1G fans (not IU) who have commented that IU is watchable for the first time in years.  Sorry if you don't agree, but don't make others feel inferior for their opinions.

Guess Coach Moren likes Texas, lol. IUWbb adds their 4th Texas player/recruit today. 6' Alexis Johnson from Kinkaid HS in Houston gave her verbal today. Last year, she averaged 13.5 points and 5.4 rebounds. Recruiting profiles says she's an up tempo player, which should fit into CTM's offense. Welcome aboard!!

Plays on same AAU team as other '16 commit Ria Gulley. First team All Area Squad, averages 14.2 points, 10.1 rebounds. Welcome aboard!!
