Boo Buie is going to gun whether he's on or not, Audige is similar. If they can Wiscy a team they can keep it close. I just looked at their stats and they're awful. Top 4 scores all shooting under 40% from inside the arc and they've taken ~72% of the shots. That's a losing recipe. They're bad from deep too.

Two turrble Big 1.o teams starting the challenge will do that. Northwestern v Uof6 and Maryland v Pitt would have been better matchups or Minny v Uof6 and Maryland v VaTech. Minny and Nebrasketball look like they'll be fighting for worst team in the league with NW not far in front.

Who is writing off UNC? AH is good for ~10 points most nights, UNC has played at their regular season level from last season, they just had 3 games in 4 days against solid to good competition with the last a 4 OT game, and had to travel more than halfway across the country and have been sleeping in a hotel for several nights. That's not writing them off, simply stating the circumstances. It's college basketball so almost anything can happen. We should win this game and if we play well we could easily win by double digits.

I feel there are enough weapons on this team that we should have a "big 3" on most nights. Typically, that will be TJD and XJ with the third rotating. XJ can have an off game and IU wins but his leadership and drive (see e and e) needs to be there. Reneau has been that third several times but Race, Kopp, JHS, Bates, and Geronimo can step up in different ways. I don't think we need to be hitting on all cylinders to win this game if we defend and rebound. UNC hasn't looked that great and have their own issues. I'd love to see us put it all together and smoke them by 20+ points at home.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jay and his buddy had a stat for us tomorrow night. I can't imagine it has happened that often but certainly has happened at some point.

The Big 1.o has some good teams at the top but some turrble teams at the bottom. Nebrasketball, Minny, and Northwestern all look really bad.

Has a #1 team ever lost 3 straight? It's rare outside of preseason tourneys that a team plays thrice in a week. I would think after two losses they'd lose their #1 ranking.
