Performing well in the noncon can absolutely help. If the Big 1.o continues to do well in the noncon and then flops in the dance the noncon meant nothing. We will get to watch some awesome open field tackles and going for it on 4th and short because the most tenured coaches only know one way of ball.

It doesn’t matter what the Big 1.o does in the noncon. We’ve had good noncons in recent years but sucked in the tourney that matters most. The issue I believe is young talent. That young talent for other conferences isn’t ready to go the first few months of the season. After they develop a bit, individually and as a team, they take off. Whereas, the Big 1.o teams stay similar or are beat up after football on the court is played for several months. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

UConn - how not to end a half

I take that back. With how a few of these teams looked in losses, it's possible we could move up a few. There might be a few lower ranked teams that move past us too.

Kansas and UNC haven't looked great against lesser competition and Xavier is solid but not being Dook on a "neutral" floor good. Arizona has looked better than all of them.

Doubt it, top 5 teams would either have to lose to a really bad team or lose twice. The other top 10 teams are either going to win or probably won't fall enough losing to ranked/good opponents. We'll probably be passed by Arizona as they move into the top 10 after winning Maui and I don't see Creighton falling much after losing to a really good Arizona team in the Maui final. Maybe stay in the same spot?

We'll need to defensive rebound better than we have so far. I believe with how we've been playing, how UNC has been playing, and the atmosphere in AH we should get the win. While we have several games against top teams coming up, we haven't exactly played a difficult schedule. (I believe it's one of the worst SOS in the country) We'll get our opportunities soon though!
