  I would really like to see OG and Zeisloft get hot in the tourney.  OG on defense where he just frustrates opponents to the point they give up.  Zeisloft from behind the arc where everything he tosses up goes in.  When OG/Morgan enter the game our defense goes to another level.  If we can run some plays to get Z going early in games that would open more lanes for drivers/cutters.

If you want to watch a fast paced game with little defense the Beach is playing Washington on ESPN2.

Is O$U really going to lose their opening round NIT game, at home, to Akron?  That would be baaaaad.  That would be 2 of the last 3 years their season was ended by an Ohio university. 

  Michigan football before Harbaugh took over?  I know he's only been there for a year but they had a solid season and have a bright future with him.

I've given this a bit of thought, as well. First, puke is not a great defensive rebounding team and IU goes about offensive rebounding in a unique way. Offensive rebounding in a possible puke matchup is key. Thomas Bryant, OG, Morgan, and Williams are all going to be important to not only get offensive rebounds but punish puke for allowing Orebs through second chance points and more importantly fouls. Puke doesn't have a great front court and they've lost because they don't rebound enough and foul too much. Second, defense and defensive rebounding. Obviously, Ulis and Murray are their main producers. Briscoe struggles to throw a ball in the ocean from the shore. I would play Williams on Briscoe and have him basically sit in the lane for help side defense. I might even possibly go triangle and 2 to stop the lobs and concentrate on Murray/Ulis. Willis is a threat from deep so I would have Hartman trail him. If Murray starts going crazy I would put OG on him to use his length. The lobs and Murray scare me. Pack it in and take a shot they won't beat you from deep. Finishing a defensive possession with a rebound and pushing the ball up is important. If we can play with tempo like we were doing for awhile we could possibly fatigue them going into the last 5ish minutes. We have to cutdown turnovers, especially live ball TOs. I think we actually have a pretty good shot if RoJo, Hartman, and Morgan are good to go.

The Oklahoma AD (head of selection committee) found a way to get Tulsa in.  I wouldn't have been too surprised if the NCAA would have found a way to get the fighting Simmons in the field.

  It wasn't just the conference tourney.  PAC12 and ACC got a lot of love.  I guess the B1G actually lost the B1G/ACC Challenge in the end.  Don't get me wrong, I think the PAC12 was a good conference this season but I'm not sure they deserved 7 teams seeded as high as they were.  Cal got a 4 seed?  Too many losses and not a great OOC.  They had 0 OOC wins against tourney teams. 

Addressing other games...   pu playing first weekend games in Denver.  I'm not sure how that will workout with their bigs running at altitude. 

ESPN just showed all B1G tourney teams with seeds..  Maryland wasn't on there haha

  If RoJo is healthy enough I like a RoJo/OG combo on Murray.  I think he is the key to beating them.

Glad that UM game didn't cost us.  Also, our gents will be well rested after bowing out on Friday and Chattanooga will be tired after winning their conference tourney on March 7th....   Bring on Chattanooga, bring on Stony Brook, bring on puke, bring on UNC, Xavier or WVU.  Let's do something we haven't done for a long, long time!
