If KU somehow ends up taking him and Preston is available that would be nice. If Pune decides to pay him instead of a frosh that we could somehow land that would be nice too. I just don't think any major program is going to take him after several incidents.

I think they're all three gone. There's an off chance that one returns but I don't see it. JBJ is gone and I don't see him returning. He's battled injuries and this might be his last chance to show scouts that he's healthy and able to play at a high level. OG is being projected on his potential and not on what he's done. I think, even if he has an average year, he could go high in the draft. He fits this team so well as a third "star" because of his willingness to do the little things based on what the team needs. TB is being projected on what he can do and what he has done (more so than OG). He can still improve at IU but he's already shown an ability to a main contribute to a good team. Could TB return as a junior to reach goals that they don't accomplish this season? I highly doubt any of them return. TB would be the most important for next years team. I guess we can dream.

I don't see Michigan overlooking us with everything in front of them. Louisville felt like they were focusing on all the wrong things whereas Michigan has been quiet. Hope we pull off the huge upset though.

Mizzou forces OT with X. I'm not sure if it's just early season, chemistry issues, or X just isn't that good. They haven't shown to be a top 15 team in the early season.

Doubt Crean ever goes to that lineup. I do think we could handle smaller lineups with OG and JMo being able to defend smaller guards. I would like to see some lineups with JMo or OG at the three and high low action run when they post a smaller guard or wing.

I really liked McSwain's post move to get his lone bucket. He caught and immediately went into his move. Davis did this a time or two. I really hope our post players continue to do this when they have a smaller player or deep post position.

Not excuses, IU should have played better. However, returning from Hawaii can take a bit of a toll on you. I thought we'd be a little sluggish and then have some bench "motivation." The team seemed to be going through the motions early. Defense needs work - switching a lot allows players to be lazy with too many straight line drives given up. Hedge and work back with weak side help - everyone collapsing on a driver left wide open shooters, several possessions in a row - they were a good layup making team - no reason to give up 78 points to UML Offense - early it looked like players were going into a move and then thinking. Morgan jumping to pass with his back to other players. Another jump pass with no intended target. I would chalk this up to the Hawaii Hangover for now. - we're good at 3s but sometimes it seems like we're warming up for a three point contest and not in game flow. - I get our bigs have perimeter skills but they're not guards and shouldn't be out there with a small wing guarding them. Play big when you need to play big. - 16 turnovers are still too many. We know it's a result of "playing with pace" but that needs addressed, again - we need to be living at the line with the emphasis on freedom of movement. 14 FTA against UML is weak Those are all things that can be corrected though. The team definitely showed they can compete with top teams out in Honolulu. Just clean up the little things now so they don't become big things later.

OG dunked on everyone, including JBJ. Would like to see the offense move the ball and limit turnovers this half. On defense, make them make tough shots. We're helping out too much. When one driver has three defenders on him were doing something wrong. That's given them several wide open threes.

IU seems to be physically making a move and then thinking what they're going to do. And the D has been terrible. Sluggish start..

When UNC rolls into town that could be a top 5 showdown. I think IU jumps at least Oregon in the polls and possibly Duke. Although, ESPN made sure the viewers knew that Oregon was without their best player. Duke, with their squad healthy, is the best team in the country but without I think we're better.

If/when Hartman returns I wouldn't mind seeing JMo in the starting lineup. I don't like it but we don't have the depth right now to play three forwards for long periods of time.
