It is our second best OOC win by ~60+ spots in the NET.

I believe we lost the first matchup because we turned it over and fouled them over and over again (not that we actually fouled them but we were called for the fouls). I don't think it's a bad matchup and feel there are plenty of areas we could exploit. TJD getting their bigs in foul trouble would be one. We do need to defend the 3 and stop straight line drives which has been a weakness of ours for most of the year. I believe we rebounded well against them the first time too.

I use big wing as the 4 and consider modern basketball more of having a PG (1) and big (5) with everything else almost interchangeable. Although, that doesn't always hold with wings playing more point and small ball having a big wing play the 5. I'd like to see Reneau develop his shooting skills while maintaining his ability to score in the post. He could become difficult to guard and our offense could by more dynamic if that happens. I would hate to see Reneau be forced into a true big on the block which would place limitations on him and he offense.

Would love to see Reneau develop into that big wing that we hoped Race would be. He can score against bigs but if he were able to play alongside a 6'10" athletic big while knocking down jumpers... we'd be entering modern basketball! Now to shoot more 3s and balance the offense

This announcer in the Big Sky Championship game might rival Bill Walton. His interpretation of the First 4 in and First 4 out was him being one of the first in and last out of the local bar. Described a game last night as going to a gang fight and a basketball game broke out. Big Sky country does it differently

I completely understand where you're coming from but don't think Reneau is the answer at the 5. Ideally, we land a couple of 6'10"+ athletic, rim running/defending bigs to pair with athletic, 3 level scoring guards/wings for a complete team. I would love for IU to be the Big 1.o that breaks the mold of needing multiple bigs having to defend massive, plodding centers in the Big 1.o to win.

Why go for a 2 with the game tied when a 3 will get you on SC Top 10?! (they did take a while to get the ball up the court but 7 seconds is plenty of time to get a good look)
