Let's go Norse! A battle of the Norse and Vikings in 2023, seems appropriate with how the last few years have gone

The 10 vs 15 game has started off where the 12 vs 13 left off.

Georgia Tech vs. Florida States is bad basketball. My eyes are bleeding. Hopefully it tightens up for an exciting finish

BYU decided they didn’t want to go home yet. They’re making this a game. Only down 7 after being down 26 a bit into the second half

This seems to backup my thought purdoodoo was steadier than us while we had the win/lose to anybody. Do you have the numbers on games we should have won easily but squeaked out? Thinking mostly about the Minny game. -

Doing a little math here... after taking the Race route to graduation you started with the inaugural class at IUB in 1820? -

It's in Chicago and we haven't played well in Chicago. Hopefully they don't stay out too late the night before ;) -

Would you give the nod to Baylor and Marquette for the last two 2 seeds? Marquette has a loss at home to Wiscy (Q3). Their losses, minus @UConn, have been close and they own a win over Baylor. -

Interesting to look back over the schedule and pull little nuggets from it. We're 3-1 in "opponent revenge games" where we won the first matchup. These games were Ill, pu, MSU, and Michigan. We were 2-0 when the second game was at home and 1-1 when the second game was away. We're 1-2 in our "revenge games" where we lost the first matchup. These games were Rutger, Northwestern, and Iowa. We were 1-1 when the second game was at home and 0-1 when the second game way away. In our single plays we went 3-0 at home (Neb, O$U, and Wiscy) and 1-2 on the road (Minny, Maryland, and Penn State)

I probably would have gone 4-0 (pu) to 2-0 (IU) against the bottom 2 teams because they're clearly turrble compared to the rest of the Big 1.o. The entire middle pack of the Big 1.o is pretty much tourney quality teams without a lot of separation (your take) so I'm not sure there is a huge difference between Penn State as "bottom 5" is much different than Iowa "top 5." Looking at the scores in some of those "bottom 5" games it was clear purdoodoo handled several much easier than we did. I still feel like we could have tied for the conference given a different schedule but that's not reality and I hope we don't hang a banner for that. Hopefully, we remain a competitive team so when we get the good break of an easy schedule we can cash in on it.

No worries, it still won't be a bad loss just a Q2 loss. -

If we do this correctly we can add several more Q1 wins to our resume. - We destroy Maryland (Q1) - Illinois destroys Penn State then Northwestern, we barely beat Illinois (Q1 win, along with home win moving to Q1) - Michigan State destroys Iowa then beats purdoodoo then we beat them in the finals (Q1 win, along with home win moving to Q1) Winning 3 games provides 5 additional Q1 wins. Hoosiers!
