  1. We're pretty solid at this and then quickly trying to make it not look so bad to put more egg on our face. It's Indiana, it's Indiana. I hope we learned the lesson to allow our head coaches to pick their staff. I doubt we have based on history. Which elite coach said they didn't want anything to do with our administration again?
  2. If you're one of the best on a per minute basis wouldn't you be one of the best on a per 40 and vice versa? Is that not how that works with those stats? I think Geronimo had a solid sophomore year and should have received more minutes. He has a ton of potential and I would be ecstatic if that is realized while he plays for IU.
  3. Good entertainment value in it. I wonder what an objective person attending both would think.
  4. Is it true? I always love these statements.
  5. Would one extrapolate to the other?
  6. I don't care what anyone else thinks either. I only care about IU returning to greatness. The thing I find interesting about this is the flip from some on here thinking he was the successor to glad he's gone.
  7. Be careful, I know where you're coming from with this but you'll get the couple of success stories out of the many who failed. Let's hope Woody beats the odds and is a success story.
  8. What was the drunken twit Fife tweetered out during the season?
  9. Nothing like a little IU off-season drama to start less than a week after the season fell off a cliff. Can we all agree now that hiring an assistant for your new head coach is a bad idea?
  10. Interpretation from what on here and elsewhere have said - he's a bigger masshole (remove the m) than Brad and thought highly of himself while letting others know. I believe he wasn't a fan of some of Woody's ATO plays and let him know.
  11. That's pretty rough for Fife. Going from a top Big 1.o program where you've had some solid success to your alma mater where you're asked to leave after the first year. Good luck! Hopefully this makes IU better...
  12. We got out in front of the NIL stuff. Just ask us! We created the first document about NIL or something and told the twitterverse about it. We got the 3C on board and are rolling with it.
  13. How many years has it been that the FBI investigation was going to change college basketball? The change came with NIL. It can be the wild west. The Big 1.o is years behind the other conferences.
  14. I believe there is more to it than just the money issue. I believe the Big 1.o as a whole doesn't want to look like the $EC or ACC. It was nice to be absent in most of the FBI talks because those programs are so bad and they're going to get what is coming to them...
  15. As in the Big 1.o has signed the richest TV deals (I believe this is still accurate) so why change?
  16. My biggest gripe with Kopp this season has been shot selection. That's probably a wider issue than just Kopp. Where are his spots? You expect it from a Bates or to a lesser degree Geronimo but, as a senior, Kopp should know where he needs to get to for the highest percentage shot. He took too many bad shots, especially from deep two and baseline floaters for my liking. (I believe the percentages would probably back this up) It definitely could be argued whether he was a Big 1.o level starter or if he should be starting alongside P Stew. I'm sure some think it's being nit picky. I get it. All of these little issues that don't seem like that big of a deal on their own add up. Who cares if Kopp takes a few bad shots a game? It's just a small percentage of overall shots. These all add up and effect the chances to win games. We were in quite a few games that could have gone either way. These decisions and shots matter. The more right plays you make, the more best shots you take the more you increase you chance to win games.
  17. This is where I greatly differ. Are they good people/students? By all reports, yes. You can be a great person, super kind, say the right things, clap for your teammates, etc. and still not be a great teammate. Give me the teammate that has those qualities AND pushes themselves and their teammates to get better. Give me the teammate that might not be the best athlete, shooter, ball handler, etc. but works to improves it and gets their teammates to improve. Give me the teammate that challenges others. You don't always have to make the shot or get the stop but make the right play the majority of the time. We had a lot of good to great people on this team. I'm not sure we had a lot of great teammates.
  18. Could it be? This level of work ethic and hopefully spreading the competitiveness will be a welcomed change.
  19. Really cool moment there for the players and coaches. Teri Moren taking this program to new heights with this group of Hoosiers is awesome! Happy for them all!!
  20. Bad pass by Princeton PG, lack of cut (?) by wing
  21. Turning it over, getting worked on the boards, and not scoring is a disastrous combination BUT these HOOSIERS can escape it still!!!!
  22. There was an article on your point #1 many years ago that predicted this many years ago. I believe it was a Sports Illustrated article but still can't find it.
