Things like giving up too many offensive boards are a recurring problem and not just this year. At this point they're systemic, is the staff too stubborn to fix it or not capable of fixing it? There's probably a reason he hadn't been a HC in nearly 10 years and wasn't particularly good when he was a HC.

He's got the physical tools, but mentally he doesn't.

Remember when I said Johnson should be seen as depth but not a fix to anything? Tonight is why. Even when healthy he is way too inconsistent to be counted on.

No, Woodson, Rutgers sucks but you still haven't fixed the rebounding problem so they got a million second chances.

Sadly it won't be the last time we see that lineup because of a refusal or inability to change.

Make everyone run back from Jersey then run more when they get home. Mgbako may not go pro, doesn't play good enough, but a transfer won't surprise and I can't blame him. Forget about Queen. Need to completely revamp the guards. Malpractice not adding a guard and leaving a ride available. No improvement on the year. Not adjusting to the roster they built and missing the tournament in year 3 which we couldn't afford. Awful coaching all the way around.

They're pretty good at being bad at basketball. They're excellent at missing the easiest shot in the game and giving up offensive rebounds.

Went from within 1 to down 7 against a bad Rutgers team. Way too many turnovers, with our PG again the main culprit. Can't shoot and give up way too many offensive rebounds. We could copy and paste these same issues for so many games this year. The team hasn't improved. The staff hasn't adjusted to the roster they built and we're going to miss the tournament in year 3, a step back we couldn't afford. Crap job all around.

Maybe it's just me but Rutgers is getting to Wisconsin levels of annoying.

I'll believe it's Maryland until he says otherwise, but I wouldn't say they're playing games. They haven't given any signals and had never set an official commitment date. They can, and should, take the time they need to make the right decision; it's his timeline not ours.

Well, it's a win. 4 turnovers is great and 14-4 differential can definitely make a difference. 40% from 3 but not a lot of attempts, only hit 5. John would be a boost if he could play like that more often. Unfortunately you never know what you'll get minute to minute, let alone game to game. Got destroyed on the glass and gave up 22 offensive boards. That has to change. Still need more from Mgbako. Not looking like he should be one and done. Definitely not Ware's best game either. He needs to step up, we know what he's capable of. Reneau looking like our best player from game to game.

They have 6 offensive boards already and have blocked 5 shots. Gonna have to tighten things up and play defense to win.

I think people just started expecting his BTT performance even though he hasn't been that player since even when healthy. He's got physical skills but mentally is a bag of rats in a house fire.

Either our 3 point defense looks great because we can't shoot or our shooting looks great because our 3 point defense is awful. Just not sure which.

This team sucks and hasn't improved so far this year.
