I yelled for him to jump on it too. My main point is I am fairly certain it was not a designed lateral, which people are tearing CKW to shreds for. Was it an unnecessary risky play? Yes. A monumentally stupid play call? No, because if executed properly we score or it's an incomplete pass. Now, going for the 2 pt conversion the second time was unbelievably dumb. Can no one on the coaching staff count? Did they lose that little "when to go for 2" cheatsheet every other team seems to have?

I think Coleman gave up on it because he thought it was a forward pass. We've run that play a couple times and it was a little swing pass. Either Nate didn't drop deep enough or Tevin got too flat in the route. I'm leaning towards Nate because it was behind TC anyway. If he leads him by about a yard, he walks into the endzone, that whole side of the field was cleared out, except for #21 and he had a bad angle.
