(2015) QB Tommy Stevens to PSU

Hell freakin YES!!!!!! -
Sale improved to 3-0 tonight Nips. He has half of the White Sox 6 wins. At this pace he will only have to win 40 in order for the Sox to be the .500 team I hoped they could be this year.

Flowers will probably start the season as #1, but Phegley will see a lot of action too. The coaches really like the way Flowers handles the staff and calls games, but if he can't hit and Phegley can, Josh will take the spot. Last year they were both abysmal at the plate, but Flowers was hurt and Josh was seeing his first big league action, so we'll see who steps up.

There's a couple of us. Go SOX. We'll be in contention this year if Sale can handle starting everyday lol.
-
It's Philadelphia, consider yourself lucky the baby wasn't still in the diaper.

Thank God they moved you to the AL, my White Sox need someone to keep them from being the worst in the league. 2005 seems like a lifetime ago, lol.

The Indiana kids, Clark and Harris, fighting thru the weather to get their letters in early, LOVE IT! -
(2014) CB Kiante Walton to IU

Georgia Southern and Appalachian St both have had better programs than us over the last decade, FCS or not. I don't think we're in any position to be scoffing at their commits that might be considering us. As for not knowing what he wants, he decommitted from Geo. So. when it became apparent his head coach was taking the Army job. Perhaps the App St commit was a bit hasty, but I'm not going to hold it against him to consider B1G and Big 12 offers. The kids 6'0", 190 lbs and runs a 4.47. We need more people on our defense with that type of athleticism. -
(2014) WR Dominique Booth to IU

Issac Griffith and AnthonyYoung will see time. Both have decent size and Young can flat out fly. Roundtree is back as well and can play out wide or in the slot. Cornett saw some action and will be in the mix, Jones and Davis are more slot guys. Wouldn't be surprised to see some 4 receiver sets with the depth we have in the slot. -
Things are looking good with Sam, love his size.

Very solid pick-up. Should be a January enrollee and ready to go for spring ball. -
Introduce a new fan to Indiana football
johnsoniu replied to HoosierLarry's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Our OL is decent, but was decimated by injuries this year. Two of the projected starters never even made it to the season and only one guy started all 12 games, and he is undergoing off-season surgery for an injury he played thru the last half of the season. We played 3 different centers due to injuries. The fact that we had a top 15 offense with a merry-go-round on the OL speaks to the depth at that position CKW and OL coach Greg Frye have already built. Next year we will have 9 OL who have extensive experience. -
Introduce a new fan to Indiana football

Absolutely agree JS. Which is why I find it so maddening that CKW has choosen to stake his future on a proven bad coordinator. I don't know if its his ego that refuses to admit it was a crappy hire or some sense of loyalty he learned from Stoops, who is fiercely loyal to his assitants. Of course, Stoops never had a DC that thought a twist was a type of ice cream cone. -
Introduce a new fan to Indiana football

Most people think CKW is pointing things in the right direction and perfectly fine with giving him a couple more years. However, the failure to pull the plug on Mallory is wearing peoples patience thin, presently company included. -
Anyone, anywhere, who has ever been associated with football whose name is not Doug Mallory. Welcome to the board and congrats on getting into the Kelley School of Business. Here's a link to a thread we had on possible DC replacements link

Mallory still having a paycheck has rendered me speechless.

Florida just fired their OC, Brent Pease ( yeah, the same Brent Pease that had a cup of coffee here). Heads are starting to roll....CKW and FG, you are officially on the clock.
-
Lynch was fired at a 5 p.m. press conference the day after the bucket game in 2010. Every SECOND that Mallory would remain employed past that timeline, my faith in CKW begins to erode. And I am one of CKWs staunchest supporters.

Dammit, if Ewald's two FGs don't clang off the uprights, we'd only be down 22.
-
Puck Furdue now, Puck Furdue tomorrow, Puck Furdue for the future.

In slightly related news, Will Muschamp just signed his death warrant at Florida (4-7 and just lost to Georgia Southern). If he's interested in getting back in the DC business, I'd be willing to toss some cash his way.
