I agree with that. I am not a fan of how we act to voice our displeasure. I think there are more mature ways to handle it. But to each their own outside of the board. On the board, we aren't going to allow negativity for the sake of being negative. That's gotten old.

I don't get where there is this notion that middle tier schools settle for mediocrity and are content with that. I don't think we have to spew the same things over and over for everyone to know where we are. I also don't get why that makes someone care more? I do not like where this team is headed. I do think Crean should go. I will be in B'town for multiple games because I love this University. I have the utmost confidence there is much more dialogue going on behind the scenes than we can imagine. That's a large part of Glass' job beyond graduating kids.

What honestly does clapping have to do with anything? By that being an emphasis of your post I completely see you don't get the bulk of mine. The funny thing is if we beat Illinois at Illinois you wouldn't remember that game. If we lose to UM you would be talking about it the same as you do now. Crean did recruit that team that won in spite of him. That is a large part of coaching these days. I want him gone but the over the top negativity is just asinine to me. Did he kick someone's dog? I mean honestly we are griping about a win on the road against a top 5 or 10 team at the time. It's a negative the way we won? We are so good we can complain when we win conference that way? I am truly disappointed to say I truly feel we are the most out of touch entitled fans out in all of college sports. Crean deserves to be fired at this point but our "fan base" is ridiculous.

Yes and unfortunately we are going to have to become more active and start giving vacations for posts that have no bearing whatsoever on the game.

I don't see it being relatively close.  There is a reason they have won 120 straight non-conference home games.  We aren't disciplined enough to steal one at Cameron.

I honestly would not come close to happy if Sean Miller came here. He already turned us down once. Why would he even entertain leaving the Pac12 and free reigns to recruiting the West Coast to come here? I don't want someone to do minimally better than Crean. I want them to win. You put IU in the Pac12 and Crean is looking pretty damn good. That is the type of conference and style of play that would better suit him. Not these grinding games of Big 10.

Cody was not that great of a defender. He played small. Yet he was smart. Who honestly plays that much of a scheme on defense? Shaka Smart and Boeheim?

I absolutely agree with that but we didn't have a team of lockdown defenders. I think Yogi as a Frosh was the weak link defensively. Brass thought we did. We played very good team D to keep that ranking. We weren't as one dimensional that year.

So... We have a top 30 defense.  One lockdown defender.  You are saying we didn't have a good team defense?  You really think Vic defended all 5 people at once?  We had to have a team defense.  We have a frosh Yogi, Jordy, and CWat on the floor.  Seriously, you are going to argue we didn't have a good team defense with those 3 players playing 25+ minutes a game with Zeller inside?  We had ONE lockdown defender.  That won't give you a top 30 d.

  I am sorry but I get so tired of the Wade argument.  Say Wade didn't have his issues out of high school, how would he have been ranked?  How many top 20 players does Sean Miller have?  How have his classes been ranked?  You are going to come at me in a team game with one player?  You are telling me he couldn't have been double or triple teamed?  Generational talent?  He wasn't flipping Allen Iverson, Christian Laettner, or MJ in college.  He put up solid numbers that people put up in college every year.  Sean Miller is getting his picks of talent out West because nobody out there can compete with him and Arizona in recruiting West of the Mississippi.  Elite 8s.  Congrats.  Its like Bo at Wisky.  Up until he made the Final 4 everyone here was impressed with his regular season run, but wouldn't want him as their coach due to his tournamtent success.  That is Sean Miller to me.  Congrats, he can recruit out West, and win in the Pac135.  There are mid-majors harder than the Pac12 right now.  If we got him, I would be underwhelmed.

Watford, Yogi as a frosh, and Hulls... Really? Plus I wouldn't consider Zeller a great defender. But he was smart and good in a team defense. So I definitely disagree there.

If he couldn't coach any as semblance of defense how did we end up with a top 30 defense in 12/13? My thing is the players run things now. They don't fear him. He should be gone. The years you are talking about were the years people mocked his tan, oddities, and drinking habits. They only had that cause we were winning. When we started losing they got away from that.

He brings consistency in recruiting not tournament results.
