I agree with this. While this year was important, we are losing a lot of really good/important seniors. We have a lot of really good recruits coming in that IMO, will lead us further in the tournament next year. Just have a really good feeling.

I'm not defending my stance, just offering different viewpoints. Isn't that what the board is about and happens in every thread, regardless of the title? :)

I disagree some :) it started out terribly, but ended well for the most part. Crean took a broken team and really turned them into a contender. In the post-season we were without our 2 starting guards, and the most under appreciated player who was our glue guy hurt in Hartman. We weren't a deep team after all these injuries, and it hurt us. Our backup PG was Niego/Williams/Hartman/Morgan. Could it have went better, absolutely, but CREAN rallied this team and turned them into a contender. Upsets happen all the time, and it absolutely sucked losing to Michigan the way we did. Just ask MSU. It happens. This is Crean's best coaching job to date IMO.

I don't really get the Crean hate after this game. IU played arguably one of the hottest teams in the country coming into the tournament, and there's not much you can do when they shoot like that. It is what it is, no one was going to beat UNC last night the way they played. Trust me, I get still wanting Crean gone, but this was his best year IMO coaching wise. He made a ton of adjustments, and we didn't have a late season swoon of old. Let's not forget, we didn't have 2 of our starting guards for this game, and Morgan and Hartman were still banged up. He did a lot this year, and he impressed me this season.

I told my wife I was looking forward to next season because I think we will be better. Now, we will greatly miss Yogi, but I feel overall we will be a better team. If everyone stays: - RoJo - Blackmon - Williams - Hartman - Bryant In that line-up, OG or Davis have a good chance at starting in place of Hartman. Our bench will be young, but insanely deep; - OG - Newkirk - Davis - Morgan - Green - CuJo - Niego These 6 will get the bulk of the minutes from the bench. I'm very excited for this team, can't wait!
