We wrap up the regular season today against the Hawkeyes. Let's make it 9 in a row. Buss is 1 assist away from another record. Go Hoosiers! Indiana (16-12, 9-6), Iowa (22-6, 10-5) ABOUT THE HAWKEYES Iowa enters Saturday's regular season finale after a Wednesday night overtime win at Rutgers, 77-67, which marked its sixth-straight win. They are led by the nation's leading scorer in junior forward Megan Gustafson (24.9 ppg., 12.7 rpg.) and sophomore guard Kathleen Doyle (11.5 ppg., 6.5 apg.). The Hawkeyes are the league's fourth-best offense, averaging 79.6 points per contest while shooting 48.8 percent from the floor. MAKE IT EIGHT The Hoosiers picked up their eight-straight victory on Tuesday night with its first win at Minnesota since 2011. It ties for IU's longest win streak in Big Ten play since 1982-83 when IU won eight-in-a-row. It also marks the longest win streak under fourth-year head coach Teri Moren. The streak has spanned over the course of a month, starting off at Michigan on Jan. 20. Preview Live Stats Radio

IU Mens/Womens Swimming and Diving
ccgeneral replied to LIHoosier's topic in Other Indiana Hoosiers Athletics
The No. 3-ranked Indiana University men's swimming and diving team won three conference titles on Thursday night at the 2018 Big Ten Championships at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The Hoosiers sit in second place overall after two days of competition with 529.5 points, just nine points behind leader Michigan. Ohio State is third with a total of 407 points. IU has won the Big Ten title in five of the first seven events, including all three relays. Indiana put on a historic showing in the 400 medley relay, as the Hoosier team of Gabriel Fantoni, Ian Finnerty, Vini Lanza and Blake Pieroni won with a school record, Big Ten record, pool record and NCAA A cut time of 3:01.30. To put the time in perspective, the mark is the fifth-fastest time in history and is the fastest time ever posted outside a NCAA Championship meet. The Hoosiers won the race by over five seconds, beat the conference mark by two seconds and posted the fastest time in the nation by over three seconds. In the diving well, the Hoosiers had three in the Championship Final. Both Michael Hixon and James Connor put on a show, as Hixon was able to out-duel his teammate to win the Big Ten title with a school, Big Ten and pool record score of 493.60. Hixon's crown was the fourth of his career and the third 1-meter title for the senior. The redshirt senior is the first diver in league history to win three 1-meter championships since Hoosier alum Mike Collier (1997-99). Vini Lanza successfully defended his title in the 200 IM, winning the Big Ten crown with a school record, pool record and NCAA A cut time of 1:41.34. Lanza's mark is the fourth-best in the country this year. Lanza has won four titles in the first two days of the Big Ten Championships, bringing his career total to nine. http://iuhoosiers.com/news/2018/2/22/mens-swimming-and-diving-iu-wins-three-titles-on-thursday-night-at-big-ten-championships.aspx?path=mswim -

(2019) DE Beau Robbins to IU
ccgeneral replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
@Hoosier_Huddle: #iufb #Hoosiers Meet the Top Targets for #IUFB's Class of '19. http://hoosierhuddle.com/hoosier-blog/meet-the-top-targets-for-iufbs-class-of-19/2018/2/20 WDE Beau Robbins- Beau Robbins stands in at 6’4 and weighs 238 pounds is flat out one of the best prospects in the state of Indiana. Robbins attends Carmel and helped lead his team to an 8-5 record last season. Robbins was also in attendance for IU’s Junior Day and has been regarded as one of their top targets in the whole class. He is rated 280th by 247 and has a composite average of 236 by other recruiting services, so the talent is obvious. Weirdly, the rest of the country hasn’t took notice like the B1G has in Robbins, but there is definitely power 5 interest and I expect his stock to continue to rise.
