Fast forward two years, the two teams hadn’t played since that fateful day, but the Valkyries got their shot at redemption and cruised to a 69-49 victory over Male in a Class ACT Seventh Region semifinal game in their quest for a second straight regional title at Valley High Thursday night. Berger had another all-around game with 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals. The Valkyries will play Manual in the Seventh Region title game at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Valley High.
