  1. Pretty much what I meant. He wasn’t coaching in a typical Knight game fashion and was content to let the lesson be learned. In that sense, he indeed let it happen.
  2. 1994, Minnesota shellacked us by 50. Knight just sat there and let it happen.
  3. Mike Woodson will come off the website when Mike Woodson says to come off the website.
  4. On a staff related note, it would at least be nice if someone would remove the old regime from the website and get the new HC bio up there. I know, they just introduced him yesterday, but they could at least have been ready to do that immediately.
  5. Love the hire, think it’s just what IU needs. I think we’re in a day in college BB where the big names don’t necessarily carry the weight and swagger they once did in all cases. We’re seeing a turning over of the ranks to a younger generation of coaches, all of whom will make their own big names in front of our eyes.
  6. I don’t think he’s much of a suit guy on the sidelines from what photos I’ve seen.
  7. Blue collar, no nonsense coach. What you see is what you get. I like it.
  8. Anybody notice that none of the questions being answered end with “I wish I knew.”? Nice to have a coach that clearly gets it and knows what he has to do to build a program and right the ship.
  9. I honestly didn't know anything about him, had to do some quick reading up on him. Like you said, when you do a little digging it's easier to see the upside. Optimistic about our future.
  10. New poster here, looking forward to seeing what our new coach can get done in B-town. I kind of look at this hire as a bit similar to Kelsey at Louisville. Maybe not the first choice, maybe not the big name, but might just be what the program needs right now. Happy to turn the page from the Mike Woodson era and more than willing to get on board with our new coach. Looking forward to hanging out here more!
