Saying Cronin isn't a target actually tracks with what national guys are starting to say. Mike Decourcy more or less said he wasn't a candidate on the radio yesterday, and Jeff Goodman said on his podcast said pretty much the same thing.

If that's all you want out of your coach, why would you want to fire Crean, Archie, or Mike Davis? And if you want more winning, why would you want Chris Collins?

Sure. But my point remains the same. Great coaches make their program great. If a coach is mediocre, it doesn't mean they'll become great just because they go to a certain university. There are endless examples where this is the case.

No, obviously I don't. Which is why I said I didn't. A 37% won rate doesn't magically turn into 70% just because the recruiting standards change.

Not really. His success at Clemson isn't all that earth shattering. Besides, great coaches make the program, it's usually not the other way around. Look at Baylor or Virginia.

Chris Collins has a .500 winning percentage and 37 percent in the big ten. I don't have the imagination to think how a coach who has been that bad can somehow win at a rate that we want.

I've seen other people say the same thing about ISU. If we go after TJ with all the force that we went after Stevens, they will not be able to match it. Just a matter of if he wants to leave.

Longtime assistant with some great coaches and won big at lower levels. DeVries sounds a lot closer to Cignetti than Ben McCollum.

So glad people have caught on to DeVries, i mentioned him a couple weeks ago. He is who people pretend McCollum is. He built Drake and is winning year one in the P4 without his best player. Give me DeVries and our NIL and watch him work.

Literally none of those reasons would matter if he didn't win more than any NFL quarterback in history. So yeah, people do hate him cause he won a lot.

People hate Tom Brady cause he won a lot. You seem to hate Wade on a personal level, mentioning his personality. That's why I ask. To each their own, I just don't get it
