@Uspshoosier, say IU loses to MSU, wins against Minny, and loses to OSU....does that for sure kick us out....or are we too far away to tell? I see OSU has a chance to improve their stock by having a crack at Purdue....and maybe Minny can improve if they beat UCLA.....

I agree. He would of been money on this roster in my opinion. And maybe he was just ready to move on any way...so it may not have mattered. What kills me is this is exactly what we needed last night and for some reason Darian didn't iso Alexis and let him go to work...it seemed to work in the first half. Our offense was pass around the perimeter, drive into our man, pass back to the perimeter, and take a short shot clock (contested) shot.....We have done this all year....at times Lamar is the only one willing to get down the base line and ask for the ball under the rim, but he just kept chucking up bad looks in the second half. Zero adjustments were made last night....with a 9 minute drought from the field.

decent line up for tonight! Always watched the big east and big ten (of course)....but I think I am gonna take a page out of @Uspshoosier book and try to enjoy other leagues as often as time allows...with our season not being the best. St. Johns at Uconn Florida at Texas Georgia at Vandy and several other games tonight should make for a nice little line up

Same, I’ve had my moments but this was a dagger for sure. It’s depressing. And I get the whole football thing, but for us fans that don’t really get into it…this is what we have to look forward to, a bad basketball team. Again I go back to NW being 11-16 and 3-13 in conference play…this is a must win game no matter all the metrics and what not. You have to win games like that and move on to tougher opponents and fight to snag a few you shouldn’t. And now we are losing games we should win…not good

You can piss and moan all you want Devries but we lost this game when we didn’t make a basket from the floor for 9 minutes.

Disappointing is an absolute understatement. This was ours to have. We don’t deserve to be in the tournament with a shit outting. All 3 games coming up are ones that are against better opponents than northwestern.

I’ll give you that one. I noticed that as well. We defended so bad when we were hot earlier….this is an absolute nightmare of a game. i get many say this isn’t a must win…but it’s a must win.

This might be the most frustrating game I’ve watched this team play this season. Like we are playing an 11-16 northwestern that has a whopping 3 games won in conference. We blew a 13 pt lead…and let a garbage team come out at the half and go on a 8-0 run
