Kel’el Ware 2nd team all rookie
FortWayneHoosier replied to rayl456's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I feel Ware was easily forgotten about because the fanbase was in such turmoil, but Ware was such a solid player, can you imagine what this upcoming years team would do with a guy like that down low? -
Is he back? Yes he is.

I have to ask because of your username, do you have any fond memories of the bison in '68? -

Absolutely. I love the fact that he admitted he has a long ways to improve. I think he is going to be a problem for a lot of teams this upcoming season. -

if you watched his interview with the goofs from field of 68, Wilkerson mentioned that he needs to really step up his defense. I really like that about him because he recognizes what his not so strong point of his game is. I find Wilkerson is going to be our biggest one we put under a micro scope. -

Jason 'Deuce' Drake is a Hoosier!!!
FortWayneHoosier replied to FortWayneHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
this is a quick read folks, but this kid is saying all the right things! This really stood out to me: On the roster IU is assembling for next season: “The coaching staff is getting the pieces. They’re not getting all of the high level guys, they’re getting the guys that are trying to win and are about the right thing and everybody is pretty selfless. I feel like that’s the way you build a winning team and a winning culture. I feel like that’s what coach is trying to get with his first team at Indiana.”
