  1. As I said previously, he averaged 15 minutes a game last year. To me, that doesn’t scream “ I have to start.”
  2. Mady Sissoko from MSU is still available. Big body. Decent defender. Averaged 15 mpg last year, down from 21 the year before. Don't think limited minutes would be an issue. Only has one year left, which fits. Improved his free throw shooting from in the 40% range his first two years, to 70% last year. Tons of experience in high level games. Knows the physicality of the B1G.
  3. Expect a picture when it happens :)
  4. I will take you up on this. What will it take for you to paint your face?
  5. Hey! I'm old and I understood his message
  6. Somewhere along the line I had to read Pearl Buck's "Goode Earth" :)
  7. Per 24/7 Roddy Gayle Jr. committed to Michigan yesterday
  8. Wisconsin always has a bunch of bigs
  9. Scottie Pippen’s son becomes Dusty’s first committed recruit at UM
  10. Asking again as it may have gotten buried. Anything pertinent with the Malone visit?
  11. With this news on Thiero, does that mean that any offer to Malone has been put on hold? Is his visit over?
  12. "The lunatic is in my head....There's someone in my head, but it's not me."
  13. Where is CGM when you need him!
  14. I lived there through the pre- Alvarez era. At that time it was hockey first and everything else was a distant second
  15. Crean was a throw it against the wall and see what sticks, kind of recruiter. He would have overpaid Tim Priller to join the program. He would have bankrupted the process on The Movement.
  16. Tim Garl Close to the program but he is not affected by staff changes so can speak openly without repercussions
  17. I quoted this a week or two ago. The other two guys were from non-P5 schools and ranked in the 80’s out of the top 100. I didn’t recognize/don’t know their names either
  18. IMO, Essegian is a better offensive player than Leal, but AL's value is really in being the coach on the floor guy, the guy who makes sure that everyone is in the right place, especially on defense. The guy who makes little plays, steals, deflections, disruptions, that help win games, and that he is better at than CE.
  19. I agree that we need another shooter or two. One might already be on the roster. Two years ago, TG had excellent shooting statistics. Last year, he fell off considerably. I have to think that with the addition of Rice and hopefully Carlyle, the onus on Troy will lessen considerably. Not having to be the primary ballhandler and not having to guard the opposing teams' best player might do wonders in keeping Troy fresher. Not playing as many minutes will help keep him from wearing down. I don't know that he will return to the shooting numbers from two years ago, but I feel confident he will shoot better than las year.
  20. If the reports are to be believed, and there will be more high end guys entering the portal soon, I wouldn’t be in a huge hurry to sign a guy like Essegian. But, if it came down to these types of players I would much rather have the guy from Dayton who shot 49% from 3
  21. Malone is #50 on Grace. Btw, he attended Prairie Heights High School, which is where my kids would have gone had they still been school age. PHHS is a really small school, and it would be amazing if this guy could play high D1 ball.
  22. Way I understand things, Big chicken needs Big Pharma to make their products profitable
  23. All this talk about rosters, minutes, etc. Is Newton an afterthought, or just being written off? If he is recovered, I see him competing for guard minutes
  24. For anyone who travels the area… On a Saturday morning would I be better taking 475 around Cincinnati coming from the west or go straight into the city on 74 and get to 75S that way?
