  1. Cannot for the life of me understand the Michigan love and/or hype. Illinois I get; 20 returning starters from a team who won 10 games last year....but Michigan makes no sense.
  2. Looks like they had 4 kids on last years team leave for D1 schools that included Auburn, Kentucky, Illinois, and Miami. One of their starters on this years team played at Georgia last year before turning pro. One of their current players was also just drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks back in June. No clue where this years version stacks up but am guessing you're going to see more and more of these middle tier clubs hurt by the NCAA and revenue sharing.
  3. They're exhibition games. How many of the early deficits can be attributed to tinkering and toying with different lineups and rotations? I wouldn't read too much into anything this week other than this is a very resilient bunch.
  4. It's a middle-tier Serbian team known for producing good, young talent. I don't think they have the funds or resources to keep these guys long term so they develop them as 17-18-19 year olds until they are sold to the bigger clubs or go to the NBA draft. I believe I read this team had 4-5 guys go D1 from last years team and another kid drafted by the Bucks. The Italian 7-3 kid we are recruiting is currently on the team but don't believe he played this week.
  5. A bunch of young talent is always going in and out of Mega. It's a good spot for the young Serbian players to get early playing time before they either test the NBA waters or they are shipped off to the Serbian giants Partizan or Crvena Zvevda.
  6. I enjoyed our back and forth. Nothing but civil. Post was taken entirely out of context by the same 2-3 posters.
  7. Who is being combative? Certainly not the guy being ganged up on by the mob for making a matter of fact statement.
  8. Oh good effing Lord, this from you of all people?
  9. Coming off a national title win, the loss of their head coach, and a win at the Shoe? Every Michigan fan I know is still breathing.
  10. Michigan won 8 games last year despite total ineptness at the QB position and the loss of an All-American corner for the majority of the season. Teams who are as deep and as talented as Michigan can survive injuries and inefficient play without having their season derailed. Thanks for proving my point about depth?
  11. Yes? We lack depth in those groups. What was your question?
  12. Which is exactly what I inferred yesterday lol. And here we are 3 pages and a day later with the mob out in full force. I made an innocent comment about lacking depth and experience (which is obvious) yet here we are.
  13. When we’re as deep and talented as those schools it won’t be as concerning. Derrr
  14. Ohio State and Oregon could lose several starters and still win 8 games in their sleep, they’re that talented. IU isn’t there yet, unfortunately.
  15. I linked the depth chart already. We’re an injury away at several positions from relying on freshman for several snaps.
  16. SMU’s backup QB lead them to a playoff berth last year. You got anything else for me? It’s not a novel concern but since the mob is out I’ll play along.
  17. Acting like OSU or Oregon’s 4 and 5* freshman are at the same level as our freshman is comical and I love what Cig has brought in thus far.
  18. We’re an injury away at QB from being a 5-6 win team. I’m not dying on any hill lol. We’re extremely young and inexperienced team once you get past the top 25 or so players. That’s simply a matter of fact, sorry you can’t deal with that.
  19. Baldwin may be the only true freshman in the 2 deep (for now) but there are several R-Fr in the 2 deep who have never played a meaningful snap.
  20. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16pZusTziafkPFkw4q4dwweOtKsWa1t5qlYdi_KQR2rE/edit?gid=0#gid=0 Safety and rover have freshman as backups. Lose Fisher, one of Nelson or the younger Kamara are now in the rotation. DL rotates heavily, lose on of your starters on interior line and now a true freshman joins the rotation. 4/5 backup OL are R-Fr. Not sure why I have to do your work for you.
  21. We're an injury away at several positions from having freshman play heavy snaps if not outright starting. QB, LB, safety, Interior DL all across the offensive line, etc
  22. Not many teams expected to win 8-10 games are trotting out true freshmen if their starter goes down.
  23. People still hand-wringing over this? Jeez
