Half of that top 10 would seem to me places that students are not ‘pushing the limits’ of free speech/expression. The other half likely have extremely supportive values and faculty to allow for open dialogue. As an example, Texas A&M just fired a professor who brought up gender identity in a lecture. Students complained about this topic and the students and Texas legislature cheered once the Prof was fired. A&M is historically always at the top of this list…last year top 10. If you surveyed professors instead, A&M would be near the bottom.

Meh. Pretty elite group of schools there in the Bottom 10, in traditionally left-leaning hubs of the country. Honestly this is kind of a compliment of the student body makeup. To Stu’s point, I’d imagine schools like Auburn, U Mississippi, Liberty, SMU are near the top of this list. Just a guess
