WKU up 70-64 with 7 min and change left. Big game for the Tops as they are currently 2 games behind MTSU in conference. MTSU with a nice run before stoppage Landers has not played in the 2H. Spot minutes in the 1H but story of the year for #4 is fouling and inconsistency in his shot. WKU is a very talented team with high major transfers and the 7’5 Junior (Sharp). This team goes as McKnight goes. He’ll surely be receiving calls from a P5 school after the year is over. Nickname on campus - McBuckets and it holds true tonight as he leads all scorers with 27

McKnight for WKU 21 pts at half. Been the story of the year for McKnight - he’s a walking bucket Tops up 49-39 at half over Conference USA rival Middle Tennessee

^^ Sage wisdom for the young and unmarried posters on this site -
The drawback that I see is JHS willingness to finish at the rim rather than settle for a mid-range pull up. He hits the pull up well, but undoubtedly costs himself by not attacking the basket - that would go further for his %. He braces for contact on nearly every drive and lay in and is admittedly not a great finisher at the rim. Another thing I've noticed, for a large guard his vertical is suspect. Fortunately, that will improve as he gets older and more into S&C. JHS in my mind is mid-to-late 1st Rd pick. Assume that he is leaving, but as several have mentioned on here there is a LARGE amount of $$ for an IU star next year. His tourney success does play a lot into his choice - hopefully we get to the Final Four and he's averaging 20/4/4. Stay or go, Indiana is in a great spot going forward. Go Hoosiers!! Now... onto the lil wolverines

This was my exact thought last night after the traditionary post-game phone call with my dad and arguing over him starting or not. My dad loves to say that Woody sticks with his and doesn't change. I agree with him, but like you said he needs to come out after the first segment. Malik has been playing better and the upside is clear for all to see. Malik may not start, but we can't have Thompson doubling him in minutes if we are serious about making a run

It feels like a win does nothing and a loss sends us spiraling. Ugh the life of a fan -
Haha as I typed it I thought about all of the bad replies that could follow. I’m with you though, complicated at best. Last year I bet on his Pt/Reb props every chance and the dude made me a killing. Ultimately though I am appreciative of Race for staying, had many opportunities to jump ship and a ton of injuries compounded on him. Talent aside, he’s a great ambassador for IU basketball

The two games in Michigan and in W Laf are scary -
Who steps in for Mag? It’s been mentioned previously, TJD and co have not beat Rutger. They have been CLOWNED by Rutger on the internet and court. I love beating Purdue, but they’re respectable enough to root for aside from playing IU. Rutger is public enemy #1 for me - I want them to lose by 20 every single game. It’s a discredit to the B1G to have them in the top of league
