In the last 7 games including end of season last year IU Ladies are 3 wins and 4 losses trending in wrong direction and the losses were all bad in a variety of ways. Not a good sign.

After Colorado win over TCU my prediction was IU and Colorado would end up with identical records in the 4, 5, 6 wins range. IU needs another win: quit playing for a tie or not to lose in tight games…go for the win instead of all or almost running plays. IU. 27 Michigan State. 20 (Colorado has been more competitive and has won one more game)

Not an excuse…but a 5 or 6 hour flight getting ready and acclimated upon arrival… IU looked slow and tired…couldn’t throw the ball in the ocean while a really high level team awaits in the comforts of their home where they prepare and play all the time ….Stanford is really high level. Ohio State gets beat by 8 or 9 at USC.

Oh Hum….Yawn. -
Virginia Tech led by Kenny Brooks Ladies Basketball seem to take the character and personality of their coach and is one of the classiest basketball programs in all of Ladies college basketball.

Beaumont pleasantly playing sound. Parrish needs to play better vs Stanford (shoot better). Free throws? L. Bargesser will be on the floor (even calling bank shots) like Tiny Nate Arcibald cruising around the floor. Great to see her play with a recovered leg injury. The quick speed is special and work is really standing out. Stanford will tell a more realistic story.

2024 and 2025….Looking for the much needed return of Parrish and Moore McNeil.

FGC veteran 3 point shooting team (playing without their best player) vs a middle of the pack big ten team on its home floor. -

Not overly happy with it but will take it and not sad or depressed about it. -

50% football is satisfactory. That would be overall regular season records on average at 6 and 6. Some years more wins and some years less wins….and that’s significant improvement. over the average of 5.04 wins in the IU football history. Top solid programs after the elite football programs only average in the rough estimate range 6.75 to 7.25 wins per year. Regular season is only 12 games. There are only so many wins to go around each season. Regardless of slow learning coaching process and mistakes probably costing a win this season (maybe even 2) in a game…. No way IU should fire a football coach if a 4 game win streak happens regardless of quality that equals a 6 and 6 record going to the hoopla bowl game. -
LSU vs Colorado LOL. Good for Ladies college basketball…and LSU…and Good for Colorado. Lady Buckeyes go down vs USC. Sunday, IU Ladies have a chance to move on up.

SC is back…that didn’t take long.

IU football frustrations include this season is that T.A. and coaching are slow learners. Things that are being observed in late part of October and November should have been strategized and handled during spring ball, summer and preseason. Examples are firing Bell, QB passing game McCulley improving, not trying to run Lucas as featured back between tackles etc…things happening recently should have been resolved before game 1. Always seem to be playing behind learning curve.
