Minnesota having a good season and IU Ladies are still solidly in the top of the league mix and have to keep racing.

Maybe, took into account (reality) the weather created a fast pace schedule off regular routine made for a long day while Iowa comfortably waiting and IU Ladies were running out of energy after half time….is the best in big ten and one of the best in country because of C.C. though when taking 2 steps back for 3 ball vs Bargesser she shuffled her feet (a little and quickly)Lol.

Perspective: C.C. is playing like at a 10 star level. Iowa is a team of 3 star and 4 star players filled team. Besides C.C. doing what she does herself she is responsible for raising her teammates level of play from 3 and 4 star level to 4 and 5 star level an additional star. Iowa becomes a team filled with 4 and 5 star players plus C.C. It usually takes a physical talented team to beat them . There are some physical depth teams this year. IU Ladies have beat some good teams and teams they should beat thus far. So far still having pretty stellar season but they do show cracks and weaknesses.

Not a good enough ball handler with comfort and quickness in traffic and looks like not going to be. I wouldn’t be surprised if T.Moren adjusts this experiment of hopefulness to more like last year.

Iowa with the help of IU played excellent defensive game. Scalia and IU Ladies non 3 ball game and exposed with some defensive pressure.

Yes. T. Moren has stated she wants Garzon to go inside more this season and that is Garzon weakness. It’s not her game and it seems like if you don’t first succeed try and try again. It looks like it will never work and she is limited to an outside game and playing off that.

IU Ladies shooting especially, 3 point shooting seems to come and go. Kinda characteristic of T.Moren teams.

IU Ladies Chloe and Scalia have shot a couple but are hesitant and now clanking it. C.C. when playing does not respect nor even care or sees defender so it minimizes defenders so C.C. can do as she pleases and is totally focused on shots. Confident 3 by Parrish, finally. Excellent by Bargesser.

After one as IU Ladies having not played their best is in pretty good shape. Hit shots like they were in their shoot around and quit letting Clark drive around all over the floor.

What I have seen a lot of this season is T.Moren trying to get Garzon to play inside more her weakness is traveling and wild shots (Garzon does make some good passes). I guess if you first don’t succeed try try again.

Given that M.H. was not at close to full strength but who had the biggest disadvantage…Miami in front of a full house IU gym vs IU in a sold out weather sucks Iowa gym. Looking for Holmes, Parrish, Scalia get 20 each plus 12 from Chloe and 10 from Yardon. Let’s see that’s 82. Something/Anything from the bench from Lilly and Bargesser and a defensive slug fest.

Questions about perspective surrounding this game and depending those involved for safe travels to and from Iowa. There are many examples of these types of scenarios of travel in team sports (college and professional (even high school to lesser extent)) so it is not that uncommon. By some Iowa was picked by 9 and now who knows…the effort to jump into C.C. lions den waiting comfortably at home. (Iowa has other good players playing well). How about California teams and west coast teams traveling to original big ten country during extreme winter weather conditions for conference games in the future.

The sooner the better and schedule as make up game that works in schedule whether sooner or later so IU Ladies can focus on next game. Being in transportation and when do get there limbo would be challenging to say the least.
