  1. Aubrey Beckham to announce decision of where she is going to play Monday afternoon August 26.
  2. Impressive Athletic Performance hire. K.K. seemed to have responsibility beyond IU Ladies Basketball and seemed at KY his responsibility will be Lady KY basketball only. At Houston K.D. seemed to have responsibility beyond Ladies Basketball but at IU will be IU Ladies Basketball only which would be good. Not sure if the above is correct? Maybe, someone could explain the scope of this particular position. Seems that effort and time was put in to getting this hire right.
  3. A player that can develop into a role player in a two or three years if she stays around like Henna has done. (always possibility of a sleeper as in surprise successful recruit/player in a couple years). Plus higher level of player/s are currently being recruited (Aubrey Beckham). The outstanding question is who is going to be added to class of 2025 and 2026? Will she or they come to IU…the highest level prospects are challenging for the IU Ladies.
  4. Wonder if it is an insurance recruit regarding class of 2025 even though this is a 2024 recruit as in looking ahead (A.Beckham comes to mind).
  5. Not over til it’s over…don’t see anything that says IU Ladies are out of the running even though KY and a couple others noted. IU Ladies are one of the schools that have to wait, compete, work hard for the very top recruits unlike UCONN and several others. You also don’t see IU on very many lists for the very top recruits as often as other top programs….However, IU Ladies are still doing a very solid/excellent job in recruiting.
  6. Schedule as it stands now lends itself to team development, I suppose. Atlantis (couple games) will provide tough competition along with Stanford. Could go undefeated entering big ten with top 20 ranking…then will find out how good IU Ladies will be 2024-2025 season. Or a couple top 20 teams could be added to schedule to make it more exciting. Outside Alantis, not exciting, rather boring as it is now.
  7. Accounting for inflation/cost of living….I wonder how salaries, support staff including cost when comparing Branch McCracken and Bob Knight to the 21st century IU men’s basketball coaches and staff.
  8. My estimation roughly $40,000,000 to $50,000,000 million in head coach salaries only; for century 21…sounds like a good gig if you can get it.
  9. Offered by T. Moren….Ashley MacCalla from Middletown High School in New York 5’10” guard per espn rating 93. I suspect that will go up by 2027. 3 years away
  10. Is Mike Woodson going to help coach the football team?
  11. IU Ladies is much better than 12.5% vs these programs
  12. Coach would probably be in agreement that it’s time for a couple of even a few million dollars raise before 2024-2025 season will help solve all things that are IU men’s basketball.
  13. C.C. does it all at the highest of levels from playing at her best to playing at her not best. (her remarkable play in pretty much every phase of the game gives her grace in the turnover statistic equal to the turnover statistic for two and a half players).
  14. L.B. is one of several potential big time sleepers on this IU Ladies basketball team as L.B. is a tremendous athlete. It will be interesting to see how many IU Ladies step forward in a big impactful way.
  15. Louisville Exposition Hall “Run for the Roses Tournament”
  16. Anyone know anything….Are there any updates on IU Ladies strength and conditioning…how is position currently being filled and who is going to permanently fill position?
  17. Listed at 6’ 3” (legs seem strong) interesting ranked 45 position rank at 9 coming out of high school.
  18. A soft schedule makes for a FEELING of more return on your investment per Mike Woodson.
  19. Yes, should have been up by 4
  20. Is there any money to give Mike Woodson another raise before the 2024-2025 season. It seems like he should be about due. Maybe, that will help.
  21. Per St Louis Dispatch quoted an overjoyed Nevaeh Caffey after helping her team to a seventh straight state championship that she did not hesitate regarding previous week surprise visit at practice from her head coach who is recovering from a heart attack: “it was 10 times better than winning the state title, something I am never going to forget.” Admirable character right after a state championship.
  22. IU men’s basketball will win at a minimum 50 games. Yes 50 games….over the next five years.
  23. Illinois, Baylor, LSU, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Arizona in top 6.
  24. This thread is like an old man walking around in the wilderness talking to himself.
