I hate Ladies college and professional basketball.

T. Moren at least publicly and backed it up by letting players play through there mistakes and development both, Garzon and Caffey (saying Caffey could be one of the best ever T. Moren said about Caffey publicly and Caffey a freshman….and what does T. Moren get for trying to be there for the freshman in return…… The opposite of thus far, Makalusky who was challenged and got playing time at a slower pace. (the snowball effect if Bargesser could have stayed maybe Caffey would have not played quite as much out of necessity and would not be demanding the money…a 94 4 star good but not great. Caffey is not going to do that well at another major program because like Garzon T. Moren took care of Caffey….treating both of them like her own kids (sort of). What are these players getting in NiL. Do the top programs just say ok and payout?? Like Garzon, Caffey just lowered her chances of wnba if that’s a goal of her’s and I can’t see anyone paying her 500,000 Lol….maybe, a desired location or a little more money like a dollar or two more. If Caffey was to go to a so called power house program she will come off the bench and risks the chance to eventually be relegated to the bench. Deservedly.

It used to be that players wanted playing time opportunities…Put me in coach. Now, they don’t want to play. It’s Pay me coach. Playing time X dollars per hour. Whoever thought of NIL even though I knew it would end up like this has about as much sense as Miles Brand and his band of merry buddies.

Maybe, all the college Ladies basketball players are going to fly out to the west coast and play there…beaches, Hollywood, weather

It’s all about the money. Can’t blame them one bit. Isn’t that what you go to college for…to make a good/best living possible? But remember the love is fake. The testing waters…then you have a school bidding on a player purposely driving a price up with maybe lack of intention to buy that to make the player’s original school to bid higher to keep her….to drain that school’s resources to affect a decision on buying another player. It would be great if all of it would just get shut down. Just get nothing or do away with the sport. Or just buy a team from China or somewhere. No fun anymore. And IU football won a National Championship and now the sky is falling.

Transfer Portal: All players should be forced into transfer portal and schools should line up players and take turns picking players until each school has a team. Except UCONN would not go for that.

All bets off testing waters or not a repeat of last year…..(testing waters is not a good look and things evidently are struggling whether NIL or whatever….though could be open for forgiveness). The record shows once the name is in the portal…does IU get a chance to match. Didn’t Noyan and Caffey enjoy the fall football season???

Watching several Ladies collegebasketball players in March Madness Tournament that IU Ladies were involved in their recruiting.

ND is not going to beat UCONN lol. T. Moren in a hard place last year at this time stating Spreen is a glue player…maybe at a level that fits her ability…but a glue player for a top program would be former all star Shade.

Big Ten will be pretty much absurdly loaded year after year. That’s why IU Ladies need to always be loaded. Z is a wildcard.

Maya Makalusky completing 4 years at IU is going to be one of the greatest of all time. As a freshman she has demonstrated physical durability and growth. Getting older and conditioning with her scoring and rebounding she has tremendous upside.

Spreen was never going to play. IU Ladies were just trying to put a team together last year and were looking for bodies.

Good move…team like Colorado State. IU Ladies opening up things for some position upgrades.

Lilly M. 4 for 4 from 3 and 14 points Vs San Diego State last night. Good for her. Players look much better when competition range matches ability level range.

Impact player

Lauren Hurst is a T. Moren type player. Small sample size but fg% 2’s and 3’s 48.8 percent wasting away at Tennessee system kinda get the feeling Tennessee Lady players are feeling this way. T. Moren has her name written all over this one. Of course there is already Noyan and another big time big is needed but there is room for another to fit into the mix and 3 years eligibility.

IU Ladies are one big impact player and a good wing away. However, they need to be very impactful. Not bench warmers. Then, if bench warmers/practice players or team members are added ok. Two have to be impact.

For both basketball and football (not sure about other sports) but it’s not the sport anymore. The recent new sport is called is called TRANSFER PORTAL.

Scored 12, 7 rebounds vs IU. Would not be better than what is currently at IU and not as good. If playing time became available…not to mention it…same old predicament and a struggle to get to those same statistics. iU Ladies need inside strength and power with scoring skills. ( only a couple players short of big leap)

Problems at Iowa …from suspension to injury IU Ladies may have dodged a bullet.

Actually, Lana McCarthy has some parallels with Mackenzie Holmes and is noted in an article played volleyball in high school and is athletic. McCarthy did not play vs IU in Bloomington…concussion protocol.

If that checked out that would be an excellent check mark.
