I support NIL 100%. To get it 1. Players do not get a scholarship or any other financial aid. 2. Players buy their own uniforms and equipment 3. Players buy all their own food. 3. Players buy or rent or build college arenas, stadiums and facilities they play and practice in. 4. Players pay for all transportation to and from games 5. Players pay for all hotels and other expenses they have…..or just receive a scholarship And shut up. (scholarships can include some money comparable to what a 20 hour a week part time job might pay at 15 bucks an hour and housing across the board) and everything else is for the love of the game or sport which they claim to have. AND coaches and those who make big money do the same things as I list for players or simply earn a few hundred thousand bucks per year And shut up. Everything else is for the love of the game or sport which they claim to have. I am talking about major college programs where big money and NIL is involved for sports and related areas. Decrease costs even if its one penny for the general college population going to college who without them and alumni there wouldn’t even be a college or sports.

Guys like Woodson (like others) only way he is going to find is to the bank. That’s the system that has been up by and for those involved. They are great little gigs for those who get them. This is a system or process that has been setup for what is now many years and has lost almost all perspective/s.
-
He and many in their own positions feel the same way. That’s how they justify to themselves their own actions, decisions, and performance. They don’t just give a 100% but give a 110%…dedicate their lives…and often regarded and rewarded. JUST ASK THEM. They will tell you.
-
Financially speaking between IU and Woodson…0 % is Woodson’s fault unless maybe Fani Willis and Alvin Bragg can investigate some illegal activities among those involved in contractual activities regarding the coach/es. If confused: just sign of the times. Going both ways. Those being investigated and the investigators themselves….in other words the crooks, corrupt.

The Great Tony Hinkle and Tom Carnegie and IHSAA state tournament single class basketball games.
-
It takes an army nowadays or is it a village? yes throw the basketball up and let’s ball.
-
Are there any known volunteer coaches available? Tony Hinkle was the closest thing to a volunteer coach, ever. I think he even did the janitorial work besides coaching basketball, baseball, and football.
-
Maybe, I should make another post on the positive only thread: self righteous suggested my posts are not positive and unwanted. (subject to interpretation). Lol

Status and Money. Why move on? Until good and ready. Pour a glass of champagne. Life is good. Just stay off message boards and block unwanted emails.

I heard Woodson and Buckner are going to suit up next year. They are talking to Whittman, May, Abernathy, and Don Noort to see if they will join them. Dan Dakich said he wanted to play, but Woodson and Buckner said NO. I think there could be a raise involved if Woodson and Buckner can make this happen.
-
I am sure he is looking out a different window than others. Money, status, feelings of accomplishment do that to a person. (feelings of accomplishment not actual accomplishment)
-
No. Not at all. I think the whole Woodson regime should be gone as well like the the other day or yesteryear almost before he ever started or should have never started to begin with. And same goes for Buckner. Problems galore.
-
Early on NC wanted Dean Smith gone. Early on Duke wanted coach K gone. Knight brought early success to IU and after year 3 many want the Woodson regime gone.
-
Iowa coach Fran says he doesn’t plan to retire doesn’t plan on going anywhere either. Lol. These people (in this case coaches) they like their plush gigs. And why wouldn’t they? And if you ask them they all will tell you they give a110%. They will tell you they are a bargain for their employers and a gift to young people. Iowa fans say he doesn’t win enough and he doesn’t have to retire from Iowa. He could move on and retire from somewhere else. Lol.
-
You are talking about people with good character. Hundreds of thousands to Millions of people. And by his or her measure (their measure) they put in way over 100%. Look around. Just ask them.
-
Why would Woodson and everyone else want to leave such a high profile status financially rewarding job/career when the only thing that one has to do is not care what anyone thinks outside the very small circle. Keep the circle small. Enjoy and feel good. Every one else can go jump in the lake (of fire).
-
No comparison here…at all. The campus tree is for the big bucks. However, when Smith and Knight coached especially years ago contracts were alot different/LESS. Coaches actually loved the game and earned money for what they did above and beyond in most cases.

40 hour traditional work week and the recent pay raise was for overtime.
-
Yes they were and the rest is history. Maybe, this comment should have been posted on the positive comments only, thread. Hahahaha.
-
I wonder if coach K at Duke in 1981 and 1982 got this much negative feedback among fans and those involved??? (no internet back then)
-
Gift. Wants Iowa game to have as much significance as possible. (4 losses aren’t bad except for 3 of them are completely blowout losses).
-
Not just IU but in most circumstances consequences are a result of Networking relationships.
-
It would be naive to think Buckner won’t be a trustee at IU after 2025 unless it’s his own choosing.
-
Hahahaha is positive.
