Should get play in Battle 4 Alantis per T. Moren.

Not even a minor upset. More of 25th ranked Ladies much better than getting off to rocky start of season and Stanford winning 4 home games by alot = Stanford 9 point favorite and an excellent (only) win for IU Ladies. Many examples of upsets but not this one.

Taking ball out of Chloe’s hands and putting it in Czieki’s worked out well. (bringing ball up and starting offense)

Keep seeing the word upset in IU Ladies win. Yes, ranking and record but this home game was not an upset…an excellent win but not an upset.

Currently, Meister may feel like she is going through like a boot camp. Maybe, by mid season she gets tired of getting pushed around and fumbling the ball around that she becomes dependable.

I think Garzon and Ciezki will be scorers. Keep Chloe at a high level (high energy up and feeling good). Then get more from a very capable Parrish and a surprising improvement from Meister and IU Ladies are back.

Intriguing. Probably have to stay with Lilly and patiently hope. Garzon played for Lilly a little and everything was good but got stuffed on her shots. Might be a place for LaMendola in the middle…she seems to be tough with quickness.. don’t know.

Stanford down a couple star players from last year and this year had to fly across a couple time zones like IU Ladies last year. Stanford all 4 wins at home. Stanford and IU are both a couple of teams in the ranked fluctuations between 25 through 50 teams, currently. However, IU Ladies much better. If Bargesser and Beaumont can regain health to a 90% level that will help. A big question is can Lilly Meister get a whole bunch better and Stripolin play well as well.

Uhm…IU football history, coach contract extension, administration commitment, a great IU football season going, and it’s at Ohio State. IU offense and defense combined shows up. IU. 27 Ohio State 23

Not even in the same hemisphere of calling for coaching change. Plus the incoming recruits are fine with those on the team. However, some near future star power needed to bend back around for success sustainability.

T. Moren can definitely coach. T. Moren can definitely build a program and culture and basketball atmosphere eliteness. T. Moren is borderline elite.

It would be interesting to take a deep dive into understanding NIL in relation to IU Ladies and the rest of top women college basketball programs so blame can be appropriately placed. Many elite/the very top level recruits nationwide seem to not have IU as a high enough priority in relationship to IU Ladies basketball program success and growth over the last several years.

From ability levels with confidence to hope. Nothing that Beaumont at 100% and Bargesser at 100 % and a physical elite inside shot blocker, rebounding, defensive, passing, ball handling, scoring machine could not cure. It is not reality. Even when Beaumont and Bargesser come back may reach 75% to 80% during season. This season definitely has the potential to accumulate many 25 to 40 point losses. Though she will do well in the long run…what a disappointment for Indiana Miss Basketball, Sidney Parrish. T. Moren has noted: It is one thing to achieve success. It’s another thing to sustain it.

IU Ladies are not ok.

Mediocre? Below mediocre has arrived if going to play at this level vs required level. T. Moren was able to put the pieces of a very high level puzzle together. Now, she is at a crossroads to do it again and probably talking 2, 3, 4 years at the latest if it’s going to happen.

Mentally, it’s a domino effect. When inside game is not good and dependable at high levels, lack of athleticism for whole team then pressure mounts into missed shots from layups to outside shooting and overall play…. and the opposing team can sense it and mentally becomes confident, feeling good and ups their level of play….especially good teams.

This is a situation that this team may already be in the process of being lost. After emphasis of live in the gym, player development, and all the things involved to players not at the required ability levels ….how much will players and team be able to endure?

No inside game makes everything bad.

Over and under 2024-2025 Big Ten wins for IU Ladies Basketball = 6 Overall Record for 2024-2025 win/loss record = 50% over and under. IU Ladies are in total rebuild at a time when big ten Ladies have gotten 3 times tougher (not only with west coast teams but also returning big ten teams). Good luck with Purdue. IU Ladies are going to need it. The sky has fallen and this is a long term problem…..Elite basketball players at all positions needed. (Lack of recruiting athletic, big, quick, ball handling, passing players that can shoot has caught up with IU Ladies). IU IS A FOOTBALL SCHOOL

Parrish seems to be a good mood standing in a foot/ankle boot at Hinkle.

Beat OSU and Purdue, and proceed on to Oregon and proceed on. (throw deep vs OSU).

Not sure what to expect vs Butler? Would be really surprised if IU Ladies even come that close to beating Stanford Ladies (Stanford is winning vs some competition by alot).

Good to have bye week to get things in order including OL. After tuneup I don’t think Ohio State will not do quite as much as Michigan did to OL. Throw the ball deep. That’s what Oregon did. (Include it in game plan more than normal).

Hard few days. Highs and lows during seasons. Good response in practices. Shay still adjusting. Passing for great shots and guards need to get it to Lilly when she is open quickly. Key: Learning and she was scout for Harvard. Shay still adjusting. Lilly needs to be Lilly. Ladies moving forward. Lilly: Big personality…Played several sports and dancing. Learned from Mac. Ladies trying to figure things out with Mac and Sara gone. (Surprisingly a little bit) Lilly has an outgoing personality. @ Butler, Wednesday Home: Stanford, Sunday
