I really don't understand how you can start Galloway here. A lineup with JHS and Tamar next to each other has so much potential even if it takes some lumps early on it's going to pay off. Galloway is a bench energy guy this is not a knock on him at all. Woody values age over talent and I really really disagree with it. (this is not in any way shape or form a hot seat type of post want to make that clear I just disagree with is philosophy here)

Something that has gotten lost in the negativity storm of the past few days is I feel really really bad for X. He's been one of my favorite players since he came to IU and even if he makes mistakes I know how badly he wants to compete and win. To have an injury like that your senior year is so tough.

If Tamar isn’t the starter at the 2 spot tonight I’m gonna have some serious questions about how we value talent

I keep seeing the phrase "not ready" but I look around college basketball and see plenty of non 5 star freshman that get playing time. Not saying they should play a ton of minutes but sometimes I wonder if we're holding back the development of guys that could help the team because we aren't letting them play through things just because they're freshman.

Exactly, if others aren't producing, we might as well start developing our athletic and talented freshman.

Them being nowhere near ready isn't much different if the guys that are "ready" don't produce. Galloway is fine but he's very inconsistent

A few thoughts 1). With the injury to X I really think Tamar needs to be a starter. It might take some lumps here and there but starting JHS and Tamar next to each other has the potential to develop into something that could make our offense way way better. 2). We absolutely need more leadership out of Trayce and Race. 3). Malik needs to play more. He screws up some but he needs to play through it. Who cares if he's in foul trouble let him foul out and get more comfortable on the floor. Don't hate the idea of seeing more of Gunn and Banks either they're athletic and talented and it's not like we're getting a ton out of Geronimo and Galloway plays well maybe 1 out of 3 games. 4). I'm HOPING that getting our @$$ beat like that will be a wake up call going into the meat of the schedule. If the team learns from that and grows from it then it was worth it. That's why we play those games early on. The way we played was unacceptable but it's an opportunity to learn rather than beating up on North Florida or Merrimack.

Brother we could be down 100 and I don't think it would make me want to watch the Colts at this point

Not that it really matters because we've taken care of business against the bad teams, but I was absolutely shocked to see our noncon SOS is #300 in kenpom. As of right now only 3 of our 11 non conference games are sub 300 teams and we've got 4 of the toughest non conference games you can have.

This is such an interesting matchup because both teams seem to have a major advantage. They have virtually zero chance at stopping Trayce if they don't double him but I have no idea how we're going to stop their wings.

We have so many undisclosed injuries that don’t happen in games that are weird. **** his muscle pics in the offseason he clearly has us in the wrong direction.

When is the last time we have had a Saturday primetime game? Feels like it's been forever

I much prefer him to Shulman or Bilas at least he gets excited and into the game

All this X discourse sounds exactly like what people were saying last year before he quite literally carried us into the tournament.

Find a way to split Arizona and Kansas, get guys some rest and less minutes against Elon and Kennesaw St and then we don't play between 12/23 and 1/5 which will be great to get guys fresher and healthier.

Business handled, get as healthy as you can for Saturday and let's battle.
