  1. The one good player we had at IU Indy, Kyler D'Augustino, is transferring. I was very pessimistic after this season. Now I'm extremely pessimistic.
  2. The one thing I agree with Bob Knight about is how much I hate the tournament.
  3. Man, I ******* hate this "we're too good for the other tournaments" mindset we still have. None of the seniors on our team are NBA material; if they wanted to keep playing, let's at least give them a chance.
  4. I gotta say, I'm not a convert to Ben Howlett and his System as the one IU Indianapolis guy on here. But he legitimately thought he didn't need a big man in the Horizon League and that guaranteed a last place finish. Hopefully once he gets actual D1 talent he can finish 11th out of 12 teams this upcoming year. Least we finally have a new arena at last.
  5. This is a loss that knocks us out of consideration for the tournament. And because we're too good for the lesser events, our season ended today.
  6. Ah, ****. See, I'm fine with the Pacers losing cause of the circumstances (was at Gainbridge tonight) but this Hoosiers team losing means no postseason tournament after Chicago.
  7. It's the funniest ****, really. For years the MAC had the closest geographic identity... Besides the three years UCF was there. But now UMass and Sacramento State are in the same conference and suddenly Conference USA doesn't look as demented.
  8. If we played them one week earlier they would have been!
  9. If they can limp their way to #12 in the CFP poll, they'll do whatever it takes.
  10. USC gets two bye weeks but only because they scheduled a Week 0 game... which currently has no opponent.
  11. Worst case scenario, this is a loss that ensures Purdue is denied a top 4 seed in the tournament.
  12. Jeez, and we just got rid of the old guy, lol. I think the big problem is that, besides the football paradigm shift, is that Indiana just isn't that alluring a school anymore for basketball athletes anymore. The coaches we get have a harder sell based on the lack of success, yet fans and donors still have the same expectations of 1987. I mean... If we don't want to play on the NIT yet the team is mid AF, then what are we?
