Honestly, I blame the IU administration and BOT’s on why we are in this exact spot in the first place. There is a lot riding in this hire because if they don’t get it right, they will lose many long term fans and there isn’t a lot of confidence that will happen. Well that’s a very good question but DM and his families heart is in Bloomington and he thinks he can do exactly the same thing he’s done at UM with a better NIL. Until he signs the paperwork, I still think we have a chance

The problem was, it was the wrong IU guy. I am not saying any of them would have been the right hire but if they were he** bent on hiring an IU guy it should have been someone who had D1 college basketball experience, not some doofus, arrogant, egotistical a**hole from the NBA

And I still think they can still land him!

Not a good look by the university giving Woodson a 4th year and May killing it his 1st year at Michigan. That’s what we get for allowing the BOT and QBall to dictate what goes on with the basketball program. I predict something will change going forward but I do still think we can get DM unless Michigan pushes harder to renegotiate his deal!

Our next coach is currently leading the B10! I was a little skeptical last year when he was discussed as a possible Woodson replacement but he’s more than proven me wrong! He’s a very good coach and IU would be happy to have him

It sounds like you are describing Cronin! He’s not the homerun hire but will get you to the dance every year and an occasional sweet 16. There is no way I would want him for 25 years
