I think it is a much larger scale than that, it’s actually full scale fraud like it was mentioned several pages back. QB, MW and company are getting theirs, what they thought they were owed, by ripping off the University by putting an unqualified person as a CBB coach in one MIKE WOODSON!

I don’t know if anyone on here regularly listens to Alex Bozich Podcast on the Brink on Inside The Hall but this one is a particularly a good one and he is joined by his dad Rick. He usually doesn’t say too much bad stuff about the IU program and MW but he says this team’s performance is a lack of coaching. If you haven’t listened, I highly recommend it. I agree!! Actually the last two coaches have but MW has really dug us a major hole because of his laziness. I know you want a proven coach with an already established recruiting pipeline but I don’t see it. Dusty May maybe as proven as you get.

Last I remember BK was lower than a mid-major coach when he coached Army and went from Army to IU. You don’t need a proven coach, although it will definitely help us fans to buy back in quicker, but we just need the right hire like BK and coach Cig. I don’t believe we may be at the point where we need a proven coach because AM and MW have set us back from what little momentum Crean built and the fact that fan trust with the current program and University have totally went gone way way down. I will ask you this, last year when Dusty May was a mid-major but unproven on the P5 level, would you have taken him? Now that we wait a year to see how he does a UM and he goes 23-7, or something like that, becomes a 6-8 seed in the tournament, wouldn’t that wait payoff? His buyout, from what I have heard on this board, is hypothetically affordable. I would take him, Beard, Pearl, and possibly Wade, if you are wanting a proven coach. I would consider McCollom if you want to go mid-major but still could be a risk. Who are you considering?

I think both would be better at IU now than what Crean was. I don’t know this, they both are and would be better coaches than MW and it isn’t even close.

Well they did play and win a National Title together.

He definitely made more sense than Woodson but he had some issues and baggage but definitely a better hire than Woodson
