Isn’t it more about possibly scaring away the potential new coach if we fire a coach mid season with a winning record overall and in conference, with still 11 regular season games left that they could win many of them. Also, isn’t the fact that the many coaches and normal fans don’t see all the detailed circumstances involved in this whole mess.

Exactly! That is the only that I felt how this thing hiring a guy with little head coaching experience and zero college experience was go into even come close to working. But Woodson’s ego got in the way and the edible chit sandwich was not edible anymore.

He’s hard to like in the first place but that entitlement right there is what makes me totally despise him and that group!

You got that right, it was because of ego but I still think they would have found out he’s not a knowledgeable and he’s lazy. But yes it was his ego too!

There were Hornsby has been for awhile. The Administration hasn’t been trusted by us fans for them to do the right thing. I still think that he is gone after the year, but I can see it going the other way if we make the tournament, especially if we get lucky and make it to the 2nd weekend, then the optics get really complicated.

I didn’t like the hire but the part that that didn’t make it totally dumb, which was fairly smart on Dolson’s behalf since he was forced to hire this idiot in the first place place, but was putting Matta and Fife on the staff. That why most fans came around and accepted the hire because Matta and Fife would have helped with all the intangibles they from recruiting, roster construction, game preparation, etc but Woodson nip that in the butt immediately after he start because he knew those two would have found out he doesn’t know crap and would have reported to Dolson how bad he actually is or how lazy he is. He never intended on actually doing the work required, he just wanted the pay. The hire was dumb but having Matta and Fife on staff actually wasn’t. Allowing Woodson to fire Fife and run off Matta was even dumber. We will never know if that was going to work because Woodson wouldn’t allow it. They should have fired him after that, IMO

Not trying to butt in on your conversation with Stuhoo but doesn’t this kind of go along with the Brad Steven’s Entitlement post? This isn’t me trying to say BS should be our guy, it’s more the fact the playing time is earned, players shouldn’t feel entitled.

The 2 big lineup wasn’t going to work and Reneau should not of played that much. Matter of fact, I think Reneau’s role should be just to come in to give Ballo a rest, at least until he gets close to 100%. Actually our last two games would make Barnum & Bailey proud. We actually should have lost that OSU game as bad as we played but OSU rose up to the challenge and played equally as bad. We are going to get killed by Turdue and MSU and I think we will get beat by Maryland this weekend

I can’t remember who posted it on here but as fast as this thread moves, it was about 20 pages back and it was probably written by Greg Doyle but not 100% but the article stated that exact problem that Woodson lacks a Sense of Urgency and there is no Sense of Urgency with program but he thinks Dolson sees it and that will be one of the many reasons Dolson will make a change.
