I would support that! I’ve been saying that exact thing too. Crean is available, probably wants to coach, and this will be a great audition for him to get another coaching job; however, many on here thinks with another interim coach it could turn into another Mike Davis debacle. Dolson isn’t going to make that mistake, he’s hiring a good coach but he could have Crean or Fife, who would be a kick in the teeth to Woodson, finish out the season. I’m just glad somebody else likes this idea too.

If she works for the athletic department and supports Woodson, why would she let it slip on mental or health issues? I think it could have been done on purpose because they are preparing for his big announcement to retire after the year. Could be wrong but she dropped that little tidbit and she hasn’t posted since

I have to, but I’m not excited to see when their next game is and my wife has to ask me when their next game is and I have to look it up. I used to just tell because I knew when their next game 3 games was. Plus I have taped a few game, which I never do. I’ve always made my plans around their games and now I just tape them and do whatever. That isn’t my normal.

Of the teams that are 5-4 in the B10, IU is the worst of that group in my opinion. NW actually should be in that group, I think they are and will finish in the top half of the B10.

If that is the case, than Stuhoo and others are right, this is his last year. I just wish they would tell us but if it is truly medical, they can’t disclose that.

You missed the part about starting. Nobody said anything about being checked out yet. What I am afraid of now is I stop caring altogether but I am not there yet. A change needs made this year, year 5 I predict many fans will move on.

Honestly, there is something about him that just seems off but what do I know and maybe KathywithaC is just trying to put that out there by the end of the season so it will justify his retirement announcement for medical reasons. Who knows!

I’ve never heard about the psychological issues. You often wonder why he forgets players names and the way he summarizes a game is pretty general but I don’t want to read too much into that but that just all I’ve noticed.

I think these home games can and probably will get ugly

There no game preparation. He doesn’t play to his advantages and the opponents weaknesses. He’s lazy and puts little effort into anything related to coaching, recruiting and developing.

MW coaches and runs a team like it’s the NBA. He has no specific system he runs, he just tries to either recruit, which is nonexistent, or obtain the best talent available that will play for him. He thinks he can win with having more talent than the other team. He doesn’t coach with any sense of urgency, matter of fact what he is doing is not coaching. He doesn’t do any game preparation and strategizing but the other is. They are preparing and playing to their strengths and taking advantage of IU’s weaknesses. That is why Woodson is 15-37, I think that is what I read, against quad 1 teams and that is because quad 1 teams are better coached
