I actually think Bates and Galloway can play it and the ball probably won’t stick. It’s not like either one we have played has been stellar! And Lander isn’t the answer either. Plus my lineup would be temporary to serve two purposes: 1) Get Bates in there to develop more confidence 2) Light a fire under X’s @$$. Nobody is entitled, so play like it

That’s a shake! I would go with: Galloway, Bates, Stewart, Race, TJD Slight shakeup. I would like to see CMW go with a 3 guard lineup along with Race & Trayce. X doesn’t deserve to start and Kopp & Stewart are basically the same player, so split them up

I can’t argue with that! I think we all see that on some aspect. TJD is supposed to be working on his leadership, what better way to prove you are leading by example is going out and putting effort in on both ends, not just when you want to or feel like it. Getting 5 rebounds is unacceptable!

That I 100% agree with too! I don’t mean to sound like it is all X’s fault, because it is not, but great guard play is important and that is something we haven’t seen for a long long time! Speaking of Race, I watched film session on Inside The Hall and on two occasions there was a drive to the basket and both times Race drug his man down on the same side, which congested the lane, and it resulted in a turnover. The coaching staff needs to get that corrected.

I will say this, CMW needs to change the mindset of X pretty darn quick! He needs to be a pass first only type of point guard that gets the ball moving and his teammates involved. He only takes shots when he is completely open, and that includes drives to the basket. A lot of times X drives to the basket with only one he sole purpose of scoring and he takes some ugly looking shots. His drives need to be kick outs, IMO. Guard play and a lot of standing around when TJD has the ball are the primary things wrong with this team, IMO.

Well said! Don’t forget there is a lot of bad habits or trends they have to totally undue before we start seeing CMW’s true system and improvement

Their offense reminds me of IU back in the 80’s & 90’s. Constant motion! I’m really surprised CMW isn’t running a similar offense

I’ve seen improvement, it may not be significant or greatly noticeable nonetheless. We are shooting better from 3 than anytime during our last 4 years! Our defense is better than anytime during our last 4 years, albeit both were against inferior competition but they still have to hit the 3’s and play D no matter the opponent. Our last game we had less than 10 turnovers, well below our average. Phinesee has seem to show improvement over the last several games. Race has improved as the season has progressed, TJD has improved since the beginning of the season, Leal has improved since the beginning of the season. I can keep going. There is one guy who hasn’t seem to improve and that is X and we are were we are because of his inconsistencies in many aspects of the game. Once he figures it out, this team will take off.

That could be Bates! I think CMW needs to separate Kopp and Stewart. They can’t play on the floor at the same time, they have basically the same role. I would start: TJD, Race, Kopp, Bates and X.

Exactly! We have at least 60-70% of Archie Millers roster with the rest made up from programs that weren’t winning. To me, CMW needs to change things up and get into certain players *****! Let’s see how things improve going forward

Again, split their time. Both should be closer to 20/20. If Kopp and Stewart are contributing offensively, their minutes should be significantly decreased
