My thoughts on some recent things discussed here: 1. I am not interested in Cronin. Something about him just does not sit right with me. I will be really disappointed if he is the hire. There are probably 20 guys I would rather have over him. 2. Buzz Williams the opposite of that for me. While Buzz is not at the top of my list. If we end up with him as the hire I will still feel pretty good about the future. 3. At this point is there even a need to interview Stevens? If he is interested, you close up shop and hand him the keys. He steps down from the Celtics and heads to Bloomington. No need to request anything or set anything up.

As a lifelong Cubs fan I am just fine with where the Cardinals currently sit. :)

As another Hoosier that lives in Mizzou land, I can also vouch for the fact that Gates is a very impressive coach. I like a lot of things he has done at Mizzou. And I think in another cycle he would be a solid hire. But with where Indiana is currently at, I think it would be a disappointment to come out of this deal with Gates.
