I listened to the Dakich rant. Interesting stuff. I had not considered his thought that the coaches listening to Goode to go back and shake hands was a sign of how bad things are and that the players are running things. The thought that Woody and Buckner did not like Knight was kind of odd to me as well. Has this ever been stated or implied before? I have a hard time thinking that after all the years and all the praise that guys from that era have given Knight. But there is no doubt that Woody did not learn anything about leading a team from Knight.

Can you listen to Dakichs show online somewhere or is it only available during its time slot?

When we get to the point of needing a short list of candidates we can argue over the worthiness of Golden. Until then it is all about the fire Woody train!

Anyone that has ever been an assistant coach and had a pulse has had these moments. It is part of the deal. But most of us are not in this position where every single thing we do is being watched super closely by a fan base hoping for change.

I went back and rewatched it. This is very true in regard to Woody. It really appeared that he was confused and Goode had to help him out. But what about the assistant coach he turns around before that? That had nothing to do with anything like that.

Have not seen something that pathetic since the Pistons tucked their tails and walked off before the game was over vs. the Bulls in the Eastern Conf Finals. Truly awful. Good for Goode on directing them back to the court. He earned some respect today. Woody probably thought it was just half time.... A decent high school girls basketball coach could have got better execution at the end of the game.

Is there any word on the color of his shirt while making this decision?

I agree with everything you said here. It does not change things. But clearly there still a few players that are wanting to keep him around.

I completely get what you are saying here, but that first loss did not bring the noise to the level it has been.

You saw it last night in the game, but an added dynamic to this is there are players who still clearly like playing for Woody and all this noise does nothing but motivate them to play harder and want to prove all the haters wrong. Us against them mentality can really work for a short period.

I agree completely. I cannot wait for the next home game.

I cannot see anything being done after a win. I still think he finishes out the season. But if something does happen it will be after a loss.
