Don’t like “I have a connection with coach Bruce Pearl” -

Maybe a dunk during warm-ups, although I feel like I have seen Jakai's team doing that. Unless it has changed in Indiana, and it could have, there was a time where if someone dunked during warm-ups that it was a technical foul. This would be 2 free throws and the ball to start the game. Maybe there was a technical for that, or something else possibly. -
(2023) - SF Kaleb Glenn to Louisville

That states pretty clearly that he’s out. Maybe Glenn likes what Woodson is selling now? Wonder if there will be room too.. -

Maybe just the hair, but he seems like a little thicker version of Ivey...now not as good at this point, but with his athleticism I could see him blowing up like that. -
Indiana vs Undue Purversity, Thursday, 7:00 pm

This is where you have to remember there are two sides of the court, in regards to Edey. Sure he is a monumental task to guard...but holy cow, he has the foot speed of a sloth on the defensive end. (A tall one at that). TJD or Race, whoever he is guarding needs to expose him on that end. It would be nice if they could put in a 15 footer or two to make him guard closer away from the basket, then just take him off the dribble with ease. Ivey will be tough, I almost wonder if we might try some zone against them, but we haven't ran much of that so far. -

I'm just hoping for 1 game X can keep his head...every game, almost, he wants to get in a peeing match with the opposing PG. Like I love the fight in him, and I love the competitiveness, but he has to be in control of his emotions in a gigantic game like this. -
They almost pulled off the upset over Martinsville. Had a 3 to tie it with 5 seconds left but missed it. Both sides, girls and boys, need an influx of talent for sure. My boy is in 2nd grade we have a team of his classmates that are already playing together at Wabash Valley Sports Center. Hope to keep that going through middle school, hope it helps. They are starting to look like they are “playing basketball” this year. Last year was the first year together and it was a little rough, but we are trying. Hope you get feeling better sir! P. S. I also have played a lot of slow pitch softball with Billy.

Gotcha. That was a very good run. Second year I thought they had Barr-Reeve beat…but great run regardless. I’m a 2007 graduate so I was long gone by then, would have been fun to play on those teams. My senior year I avg 18 and our second leading scorer avg 9….nice when you have a team where everyone is a threat.

Tae Johnson didn’t impress. Now they were playing Traders Point Christian who was visibly overmatched. I don’t think they were going all out but Johnson maybe had 10 pts. You could see the football side, trying to anticipate and jump passing lanes. He had 4 or 5 steals. Physically the football side is there for sure, athletic and built like a truck. (Hard to believe that was a sophomore seeing him in person). Rather disinterested or not, definitely struck me as a football player who plays basketball too. That’s him in the black shirt in the picture.

Hope to see him live in 2 weeks. My alma mater is putting on their first annual tourney. Searched for teams, and Fort Wayne North committed to it. My alma mater is Clay City, a small 1A school, could be interesting. Fort Wayne drew Benton Central, while Clay City plays North Vermillion. There are 4 other teams in the field too, should be a lot of contrast in styles of play for sure.

Lander has probably looked the most controlled of the 3 PGs and Woodson won’t give him minutes. Let the kid play…bench X and let the kid play!

Johnson is a classic guy who puts up some numbers but doesn’t help your team win.

This would be huge…fingers crossed

I wonder how these teams would fair in Indiana. I know they obviously have some amazing athletes, but there is absolutely no defense being playing in that highlight clip. I'm sure more of their games would translate then I think, but I can't hardly stand watching a high school game with no defense being played....I'm pretty old spirited for a 33 year old I guess lol. -
Doesn’t mean we will land the kid, but can’t be mad that they are big IU fans.
